"First time dining in for lunch and had heard good reviews about the food. I ordered a chicken Souvlaki plater. The first thing that I noticed was that what was supposed to be the traditional Greek dressing didn’t look as if it was. The next hi g was the chicken. It was cut into slightly larger bite size pieces and didn’t resemble that of a marinated chicken that was skewered.I took a piece and ate it. Sadly it was so dry, and had zero flavor. To get it down I had to drink a bit of my beverage. I was shocked at first and decided to shake it off and took a larger piece. I couldn’t even eat it. It was so dry. For a reference, it was like someone had made baked chicken breast and over cooked it.The pieces were hard and had no flavor.I decided to go over to the owner and politely, not for customers to overhear, told him that my chicken was extremely dry. He was surprised and said oh, I am surprised, it is fresh. He says, it’s chicken breast you know. I said, yes. He then brought over, like a parent would to a child to get them to eat what you know is bad tasting, olive oil and more of the sour cream Greek dressing. He proceeds to pour it all over the open pita and said, “here, this will make it better.” Even Olive Garden asks before offered graded Cheese. Well, it didn’t taste better, ot was extremely dry chicken drenched in olive olive and sour cream. I suffered through it and will say I failed at letting him k ow that it was not acceptable . I paid 29.95 for two platters and two sodas. So, since my kindness wasTaken advantage off, and he didn’t provide an apology and offer another platter to make things right, I will not be returning and will not recommend them. A lot of family owned businesses value their local customers and want to ensure that they experience the best of what they offer. This one did not. If he had only did the right thing from the beginning….. seriously disappointed."
