"The service was awful. For some reason half of the entrees came out with the appetizers so everyone was eating at different times. The waitress just keep walking by our table and not acknowledging that we were there or asking if we needed anything. Blatant disregard for us as people. We spoke to the manager who refused to understand the problem. He only sort of apologized and came back to tell us he comped our drinks and we should come back to visit him. Why?? We’ll still have to endure terrible service and mediocre food. No thanks. I’d rather spend my money elsewhere."

"Made reservations for my boyfriend's birthday and was hoping to have brunch, which I saw was every Saturday and Sunday. We got there at 11:15 and they were still setting up. It was the coldest day outside and the cold air had trickled in. We sat with our winter gear on and even sat beside a heater throughout our time there. They had a valentines menu and were not serving brunch. I really wish I had known that when I made the reservation. The pizza was okay and coffee warmed us up. But overall a big disappointment and dampened the rest of the day for us."

"This is the first time my wife and I have ever walked out of a restaurant. Party of 2, arrived at 6pm for a 6:30pm reservation. My wife and I enjoyed a drink at the bar, which was excellent. We were then seated outside at 6:30, and things went downhill. We saw 2-3 servers/staff stop and look at us but no one, no one, said anything to us, let alone greet us. It was a gorgeous night and we were chatting so we didn't pay much mind. After a bit, however, it was ridiculous. My wife went to the hostess stand. We were quickly given some bread and waters. It was 7:05pm. We were told the manager and a server would be over in a minute. At this point we were done. At 7:08pm we had it and left, opting to walk a short distance to Lib's Grill. On the walk over I called the restaurant to ask why we were ignored and spoke with the manager. While pleasant and apologetic out night out was compromised. She said they were short staffed and had several large parties that needed attention. We were very much looking forward to a good night and what looked and smelled to be great food. The manager asked us to come back and she would give us a $25 gift certificate. I said we were there for 38 minutes at a table, in the front to boot, and were completely ignored. Why would we walk back? In this day and age, completely unacceptable. Shame on Galliano, thank you Lib's Grill for a terrific meal and outstanding service!"

"As usual, Trattoria Romana South was a wonderful experience. The food is always very good, though I was a bit disappointed that they had run out of lobster for the Veal Aragosta. They did offer a shrimp substitute, but I went with another veal dish instead…. Very good, but not exactly what I’d wanted. Oh well…. A reason to return! Our waitress was outstanding and truly made our night. Busy night but we were treated well and checked on often. She was very pleasant and so knowledgeable about the food offerings. Another great reason to have Trattoria as that special night restaurant"

"We have walked by this place so many times and, on a friends suggestion, who finally had dinner there. The ambiance was warm and comfortable and not overly trendy. The food was authentic and very delicious. We could all hear ourselves talk and we had some hearty laughs because of the easy going atmosphere. All 5 of us had nothing but praise and in a heartbeat we decided to have our next monthly dinner there. Thanks for a perfect evening! NYC could use a lot more restaurants like Rafele."

"My father-in-law was excited to try a pizza or calzone, while I was looking forward to the bread. However, when we sat down, we were informed that the pizza oven had been out of order for four months! We did order the calamari appetizer, but the spicy marinara sauce served with it was quite bland. As for the pasta dishes, they were all acceptable. The arrabbiata lacked the spiciness I expected, and the sausage and rave pasta was decent but needed salt, pepper, Parmesan, and olive oil to enhance the flavor. My pumpkin ravioli was tasty, but the sauce was supposed to be a brown butter sage, and it definitely wasn’t; it tasted more like clarified butter with a hint of something else. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"Service wasn’t good. We weren’t gien menus when seated, but other tables seated after us were given menus. We didn’t know who our waiter was as if we were never acknowledged. It took forever to just order drinks. The portions were small and not of good quality. It was as if it was prepared and tasted as if it came out of a cafeteria. Even the ice cream dessert was unappetizing. Our experience was not good whatsoever, and we will not be dining at this restaurant again."

"The penne ala vodka was excellent, featuring just the right amount of sauce. I would have appreciated it if the soup served as a side had a name, as it caught me by surprise and left me unsure whether to choose soup or salad. Additionally, the meal was supposed to come with garlic bread, but none was provided. The cannolo was tasty, although I wish there had been a quantity specified since it was listed as "cannolis" (plural), but I only received one. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely dine here again."

"i the eataly downtown. as a performer with seat in venice, italia, I could enjoy from top to the foot italiens. and when I try out the food at this place, I feel back there! Yesterday I bought a few delicious cut prosciutto parma, their really, melt in their mouth homemade mozzarella, and put it on slices of their damp rustic olive oil brot. to say I was in the sky, was a subduration! for the first time I have sampled her crema expresso-like a lavazza choc milkshake -yum. I usually get your incredible homemade pasta to go home, but I've been there too long! I just had a little problem. the muscheln for the cannoli a family favorites, as my grandfather was born in palermo, sizilien) were too thick and greasy. but did it stop me from eating it? No! for me this situation was perfect, with their late hours, as I come down to enjoy the sunsets and the beauty of the green, then they invite themselves to goodies for my long journey to home near the cloisters. it is really quite authentic tasting Italian eating here, and the personal is very helpful. happy!"

"This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I 've ever had. We were seated, ordered appetizers, and were served within half an hour. After that, it was a disaster. We waited an hour for our main courses. The food was good (not great) and definitely NOT WORTH THE WAIT.The most outrageous part was that I went to the manager twice to ask about why our meals were taking so long. He had no response. I went back a third time, and was very upset that nothing was done to remedy the situation. He just looked at me.Evenutally, the owner came out and instead of apologizing she started to argue with me saying, this is not a fast food place and we have 200 people here. She was so unprofessional and rude. This is a service industry and instead of insulting me, she should have tried to make ammends and at least be apologetic.If they can 't handle 200 people, they are inefficient. The night with my family was ruined. Not only will I never go back, but I hope other people read this and decide to go elsewhere."

"The service was timely and friendly from the hostess, to the servers, to the bussing staff. The menu was extensive with plenty to choose from for southern and northern Italian specialities as well as Marco creations. I had the veal chop which is the best I have had anywhere throughout the U.S. and Canada, including the Little Italy sections of many major cities., and the price was not ridiculous like it is in many places. I also had spaghetti with an oil and an abundance of sliced and chopped fresh garlic which was also outstanding We also had a Shrimp Scallop (wrapped in bacon) appetizer with a very balanced Dijon mustard and molasses (or a similar-tasting sweetener) mix. My wife had scalloped veal cutlets with shrimp and crabmeat with a garlic sauce. It was good, but she thought it needed something to give it more flavor which I agreed when I tasted it. It was cooked properly but needed something to give it a little more zing The next time, and there will be a next time, she would likely get a southern veal dish. She also had marinated asparagus which she said was excellent. Since we live two hours away and were in Deleware for the night, it is not a place we will get to often (but it would definitely be one if we lived closer), but we will go down that way just to go to Marco's and spend the night. Well done, Marco's!"

"I highly recommend trying the fried calamari and zucchini at this Italian restaurant in the DFW area it's hands down the best I've ever had. The crispy texture and perfect seasoning make it a must try dish. Additionally, the Margherita pizza is a delightful choice. Not only is the food top notch, but the service is also exceptional, making for an enjoyable dining experience. Plus, the restaurant's location close to the Allen Premium Outlet is very convenient."

"Came here with my parents and sister. Everything about this restaurant is authentic. We had a beet salad, fried zucchini flowers, and octopus as an appetizer. The fried zucchini flowers were as good as any I have had. My gnocchetti in a pork ragù were excellent. My father's orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe were fantastic, particularly the sausage. My sister's rigatoni had less ricotta and more eggplant than she expected, but the sauce was great. My mother was not as impressed with her penne in a pesto, with shrimp and mushrooms as the shrimp was nothing special. I thought the texture of the pastas was good, with the best being the gnocchetti and orecchiette. We also had a tartufo and a torta caprese. I thought the tartufo was delicious. This is a high quality restaurant."

"I would love To recommend this restaurant to anyone that has not been there. Only issue is They were unable to negotiate a new lease and therefore will be closing. They are looking for a new location in the Oakbrook area. If I could give this 10 stars all the way across I would. Our table even had a conversation about how exceptional the service was. Your water was never left empty if you he had a drink and it looked water down they brought you another 1. We had ordered our Tuscany salad 1st. My favorite salad. We then ordered our dinners after we finished it. Nothing felt rushed we were there for about 3 hours at our table and it was just a very comfortable dinner. Actually we decided we were all going to order something to bring home for the next day because the food was so exceptional. I hope they open soon somewhere close to their location now because this is one of my favorite restaurants. By the way it says something when your employees have been with you for all 26 years that this restaurant has been open. Good luck to all of them in their new location once we find out where that is. Highly recommend this highly recommend this restaurant!"

"While the food was wonderful, we got there at opening and placed our order. It took over an hour and a half to get our dinner because they take all carry out orders first (after an hour I started counting and counted twenty take out orders before us) we ended up having to ask for our diner to go. They got every dish wrong… when we asked to just send it all back they said no and that we needed to learn patients, that it had only been two hours. We used to go to this restaurant often but I doubt we’ll ever be back. It really was a terrible (and expensive) experience to wait hours to be charged hundreds of dollars for the wrong meal"

"Had a delicious dinner at Cafe Lucci last night. While it may be on a busy road with difficult parking, they offered complimentary valet parking. Even though we were 15 mins early, they were able to seat us immediately. Our attentive server quickly took our cocktail orders and gave us the perfect amount of time to review the delicious specials and fantastic menu. I always love when I try a new restaurant and there are multiple dishes I want to try, both on the specials menu and the regular. Our decisions did not disappoint. We ordered the grilled calamari (yummy) and I ordered my favorite dish, Ciopino, (which is risky as they could disappoint me very easily here) and it was FANTASTIC. They even offer it with or without pasta. I went full on protein fix and it was wonderful. I added a side of sautéed spinach for some greens and that was the perfect meal for me. Friends tried many of the specials and everyone was thrilled. We didn't ordered dessert as it was late and we were tired, but many passed our table and they looked beautiful and worthy of trying. Next time!!! I will say the bread they brought to the table was stale, but the garlic spread which accompanied the bread made it edible. The only other less positive review I will give is on the ambiance. There really isn't any. It's loud and the dining area doesn't have much personality. The bar does look quaint, but overall not great. To add to our favorable review, we literally walked out to the valet and our car was already waiting for us!!! Impressive. He must have seen we were paying the bill and he brought our two cars around. Quite a nice touch. Bravo! I highly recommend Cafe Lucci. I can't wait to go back."

"I was quite disappointed with my experience. The food was mediocre, and the prices felt steep, especially since everything was à la carte. Even though we made reservations, they seated us next to the door, which wasn't ideal. The restaurant got quite noisy, making it hard to hear the person across from me. The bread served was hard, and the only toppings were a small amount of butter or olive oil—nothing to write home about. While the thin chicken Parmesan was decent, it didn't stand out. The tomato sauce was a letdown as well; it didn't taste fresh at all. I requested mine to be made without salt, but I was told it couldn't be done because it was already prepared. (By the way, it wasn't salty to begin with). Anthony's chicken Parmesan is far superior. Considering the price and quality of the food, I walked away feeling let down. Dietary restrictions: they wouldn't accommodate a request for a salt-free dish."
