"The restaurant exceeded my expectations. The Fungo Portobello Gratinato (Portobello mushroom stuffed with garlic croutons, fresh herbs served with roasted red pepper sauce) priced at $10 was delicious, with 1.5 portobello mushrooms and crispy croutons. The Insalata Caesar (Crisp romaine lettuce with homemade croutons, grated parmesan cheese) priced at $7 was fresh but not particularly exciting. The Linguine con Gamberi Rombo (Tiger Prawns, Halibut, sautéed with Vodka Garlic, olive oil, fresh herbs, spicy tomato sauce) was good and simple, resembling a homemade dish. The Gamberi Al Cognac (1 dozen Tiger prawns pan seared, flambéed with cognac in a light rose sauce served with risotto) priced at $24 was enjoyable, with a flavorful risotto and plenty of sauce. The Tiramisu (Savoiardi biscotti soaked in espresso coffee and Rum Italian mascarpone cheese dusted with organic Belgian cacao) priced at $8 was satisfying, with a noticeable hint of liquor. The appetizers were substantial and could serve as entrees in other establishments. However, there was an issue with a date change charge, but the server was accommodating and deducted the $120 from the bill."
