"We had reservations at 4:30 but due to traffic, we didn't get to the restaurant until 5:15. I called to warn them but being 45 minutes late didn't guarantee us a table. Still, they did seat us, and not only that, they sang happy birthday to my husband when they brought his dessert. Overall, the food was delicious. I wanted the pork chop but it would've taken 40 minutes so I switched to the Calamari alla Griglia. Others at the table also mentioned how good their meals were. I wish it was closer to the Theatre District, but I'd definitely go back again."

great eating, beautiful environment, beautiful lighting, poor, low level, so they can actually have a conversation! the waiters must be much more attentive. the restaurant was not overcrowded at all, but difficult to get a waitress several times attentiveness.

This was an early Christmas celebration with family and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The food and service were excellent. My cousin had the risotto and said it was the best she ever tasted. I had the guitar spaghetti with tomatoes and arugula and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. The appetizers creamy burrata, prosciutto with melon, and eggplant were all really nice. The best was the attentive wait staff. We will be back. View menu

We have been coming for years. The food is awesome and the service is top notch. We had the eggplant parmigiana as an appetizer. I had the guitar spaghetti with shrimp, and my husband had the homemade ravioli. Both our favorites. Shared a bottle of Stags Leap. The cheesecake for dessert is made in house and delicious. My husband enjoys the lemon sorbet that comes in a carved out lemon. Great presentation. Highly recommend if you enjoy a solid Italian meal.

Excellent food and service. My first time here. I ordered the special Bronzino dinner. It was beautiful and delicious but a little spicy for my taste. Without hesitation the waiter insisted they make me another which was perfect! I’m dairy and gluten free and delicious food is hard to find in many restaurants. I was also thrilled with the lemon sorbet artfully plated with a currant sauce. And sipped my peppermint tea for a relaxing ending. Definitely coming back!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
