"We attended the Beer, Bourbon BBQ event mainly for the Rockland BBQ food truck, but our experience was quite disappointing. We waited in line for an hour and 14 minutes before we could place our order. I opted for the meat platter, which included brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken, and chose potato salad and cucumber as my sides. The staff told us our order would be ready in two minutes, but sadly, it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive.
To make matters worse, my order didn’t include the potato salad I had requested. After two long hours of waiting, I just didn’t have the energy to argue or ask for a correction. The brisket was extremely chewy, and to my surprise, the chicken still had bones in it. This level of quality is totally unacceptable, and as a result, I will be leaving negative reviews for all Rockland BBQ locations.
This experience shows a serious lack of management and customer service. At a summer event with only four BBQ vendors present, proper preparation should have been a priority. Unfortunately, Rockland BBQ did not meet these expectations."
