"the food was good. but was not able to enjoy the dessert we ordered because we had to leave the rest of our party before dessert came. we have ordered 20 minutes before the farewell dessert. the 20 minutes went by and the waiter never came by to tell us what took so long. two of us had to go, and the last person in the table had to enjoy the dessert and said it was at least 5 minutes after our departure before it came out. no dessert should take 25 minutes. per our third person our server has apologised and said that the kitchen has been washed with free. I understand, but he should have come and told us to divorce. we would have canceled the order. but he never did. the service was attentive to some things, maybe too much (water glasses would be after just one swallow or also filled). but lax about the communication about the dessert was a small mistake. we're coming back to another attempt."

The shrimp and goose were delicious, and the fried chicken was fantastic. I can't wait to return and try some of their other dishes!

The food was average, but a bit pricey for what you receive. The best thing on the menu are the sides. Overall, the service was extremely slow. It took 2 hours for a table of 4. We would have ordered more drinks and dessert if not for the very slow service. View menu

I have frequently dined at Georgia Reese and have always enjoyed my meals there. However, my recent visit after a few months was disappointing. Initially, my reservation wasn’t honored, and then the service was incredibly slow, to the point of being ridiculous. Additionally, part of my order never arrived. The main issue, though, was the food. The dishes were undercooked and simply not edible, and the fish tacos were poorly prepared. I won’t be returning until I hear that things have improved, but I have my doubts. It seems like the restaurant's focus may have shifted elsewhere.

I was really disappointed with my experience at the restaurant during the holiday season, especially since I traveled from New England to enjoy the time with my family. The atmosphere was too loud, and we were seated in a cramped location right in front of an unofficial buffet, which was particularly challenging for my grandmother in a wheelchair. Patrons kept bumping into us while trying to navigate around with their plates. Additionally, we were seated directly in front of the stage where a jazz band was playing. Furthermore, the restaurant didn't communicate that the buffet was the only dining option available.

We had eaten at the downtown Georgia Reese's and had a wonderful time. It seemed reasonable to expect a similar experience at the north side location, but we were wrong. Our server tried his best, but was stretched too thin to adequately care for our party of four. The food that was so inspired and flavorful downtown was tired and just shy of adequate. We will probably return to Georgia Reese's downtown, but will not be going to the north side location unless substantial changes are made. I really want these restaurants to succeed, so I hope that Mr. Brackett can devote himself to getting this location back on track. View menu

Our meal was delicious! We each had a different entree and dessert so we could share. Fried chicken-what can I say-light crisp coating, well-seasoned and juicy. Cajun shrimp and cheesy grits-very flavorful with large shrimp. Our sides were seasoned well, just like mom made. The desserts were sinful. Warm peach cobbler and Bananas Foster bread pudding, oh my! Wait staff was very attentive, our beverages were never empty. He stopped frequently to see if everything was satisfactory. Music in the background was not too loud so conversation was easy. Will definitely return to try other entrees and sides on the menu. A very enjoyable and filling evening!!

Family of three dined at 6:15 pm on a Sat night. We were greeted promptly by the hostess and had a table within 5 minsthanks to open table reservations. Waitress approached our table 10mins later which seemed like a long time given the restaurant was not crowded. She immediately informed us this was her 3rd day on the job. Had to wait on the cocktail menu prior to ordering drinks. Ordered an app-deviled eggs which were tasty but at 6.95 a little pricey for 4 eggs. Husband ordered gumbo, me catfish, teenager chicken and waffles. Overall food good and bar drinks tasty. When food came out, missing gumbo and one of our sides was incorrect. I was disappointed as this location not as good, service...

"My son was in from California so we wanted to take him to Tony’s. We have been before and think highly of the restaurant. Positives: Calamari, wedge, steaks and pasta were very good.Positives: My mother who is very picky loved her steak although she did send it back because it was not hot when it came to the table. She still raved about it even after that. That is really something.Negatives: Lobster tail was so over cooked it came out all curled up. It took me a minute to even figure it out. I sent it back. They asked if I wanted another one. I said “no”. I was getting full anyway so no reason to add another to the bill since they obviously do not know how to cook it. Suggestion if you don’t know how to cook it then take it off of the menuNegative: Preoccupied waiter. I would have gotten a glass of wine with dinner. Waiter never asked. I have been to Tony’s before and have had very attentive waiters. Not this time.Negative: Not Tony’s fault but a large table by us were drunk and very loud. Negative: I have no desire to come back. Their steaks are very good but if you can’t cook a lobster tail it puts Tony’s as a great steakhouse in Indy at the bottom of the list. Their credibility is gone to me. Suggestion: Bringing a nice piece of desert to the table on the house would have been a nice gesture and then I may have wanted to come back. They had a full house so a party of was probably not a priority"

"Inside, you’ll find seating at tables and the bar, along with a pleasant patio area that overlooks the sidewalk. They also have a self-serve water station in the front. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. I chose to sit at the bar, and it appeared to have not been wiped down all day. The floor was quite dirty as well. The staff did what was necessary, but seemed to lack enthusiasm. You can customize your own bowl or select one of their signature options. Feeling adventurous, I decided to create my own bowl. Regardless of your choice, you start with a base. I opted for traditional sushi rice over brown rice and spring mix salad. Next, I had to select a protein. The size of your bowl determines how many scoops you receive. The regular size allows for two scoops, so I chose one scoop of spicy tuna and one of marinated salmon, although options like octopus, tofu, and shrimp are also available. After that, you can add various toppings and sauces. I have to admit, my bowl was quite tasty and packed with protein. The atmosphere was relaxed, with music playing softly in the background. Unlike the other location I've visited, this one doesn't offer shaved ice, just poke. Overall, I found this place to be just average compared to other locations I've tried, which is why I’m giving it a 3-star rating. The poke was decent, but everything else felt pretty standard at best."
