"The food here is delicious. Reservations are definitely recommended. It is a very busy place. Most restaurants just have 1-2 vegetarian dishes, so I was pleasantly surprised that they had an entire vegetarian tasting menu. That is so rare to find. The 6 course tasting takes about a couple hours and the dishes are very inventive. The service is pretty good as well. The experience could be so much better if there was a vegetarian protein source and the portion sizes were larger to better match the price of the tasting menu. You could alternatively include the wines in the base price to elevate the experience. Overall a good place to go for a special occasion. EDIT: Updating to 5 Stars. We visited the restaurant again after a year and loved the fact that Vida incorporated all my suggestions. The dishes did not repeat any vegetables, they included a vegan protein source in Tofu and the portion sizes were also larger. 100% recommended for a special occasion especially for Vegetarians."

"My son was in from California so we wanted to take him to Tony’s. We have been before and think highly of the restaurant. Positives: Calamari, wedge, steaks and pasta were very good.Positives: My mother who is very picky loved her steak although she did send it back because it was not hot when it came to the table. She still raved about it even after that. That is really something.Negatives: Lobster tail was so over cooked it came out all curled up. It took me a minute to even figure it out. I sent it back. They asked if I wanted another one. I said “no”. I was getting full anyway so no reason to add another to the bill since they obviously do not know how to cook it. Suggestion if you don’t know how to cook it then take it off of the menuNegative: Preoccupied waiter. I would have gotten a glass of wine with dinner. Waiter never asked. I have been to Tony’s before and have had very attentive waiters. Not this time.Negative: Not Tony’s fault but a large table by us were drunk and very loud. Negative: I have no desire to come back. Their steaks are very good but if you can’t cook a lobster tail it puts Tony’s as a great steakhouse in Indy at the bottom of the list. Their credibility is gone to me. Suggestion: Bringing a nice piece of desert to the table on the house would have been a nice gesture and then I may have wanted to come back. They had a full house so a party of was probably not a priority"

"Got the classic burger, chips and cheese carrot cake and the banana bread oh and fried chicken meal. Was delicious would recommend to people who are new to vegan food and don't want to eat carrots and beets it's a,new twist on takeout. Staff was lovely and patient even with a full line will definitely be coming back.Went back Saturday to get chocolate cake which is delicious and huge for the price, also had the chimichanga was so good was fresh out the grease. Was a tad bit oily on the come out but didn't take away from the flavor. The chicken and waffles were amazing with the honee chicken just marvelous. Lastly had the potatoes wasn't a fan they were cooked nicely and had a nice smell I just don't like sweet tasting starchy food like potatoes personally some may like them my wife certainly did. "Inside, you’ll find seating at tables and the bar, along with a pleasant patio area that overlooks the sidewalk. They also have a self-serve water station in the front. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. I chose to sit at the bar, and it appeared to have not been wiped down all day. The floor was quite dirty as well. The staff did what was necessary, but seemed to lack enthusiasm. You can customize your own bowl or select one of their signature options. Feeling adventurous, I decided to create my own bowl. Regardless of your choice, you start with a base. I opted for traditional sushi rice over brown rice and spring mix salad. Next, I had to select a protein. The size of your bowl determines how many scoops you receive. The regular size allows for two scoops, so I chose one scoop of spicy tuna and one of marinated salmon, although options like octopus, tofu, and shrimp are also available. After that, you can add various toppings and sauces. I have to admit, my bowl was quite tasty and packed with protein. The atmosphere was relaxed, with music playing softly in the background. Unlike the other location I've visited, this one doesn't offer shaved ice, just poke. Overall, I found this place to be just average compared to other locations I've tried, which is why I’m giving it a 3-star rating. The poke was decent, but everything else felt pretty standard at best."

"The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and the customer service is great as well. However, on one occasion, I paid for cheese in my eggs but did not receive it. When I tried to call and address the issue, I was unable to reach anyone as the phone went to voicemail for 3 hours straight. Despite this, I decided to give them another chance because I really enjoy their food. Unfortunately, on my next visit, my eggs were cooked so long that they had brown areas on them, even though I had requested them scrambled very soft with American cheese. I truly love this place, but I just wish they would fulfill my orders accurately."

I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Great restaurants owe their success to exceptional staff, and despite my short stay, the energy from the team was incredible—they were warm, friendly, and welcoming. "We were just passing through and noticed this place had great reviews, so we decided to give it a try, and it did not disappoint! As Australians, we hadn't heard of (or tasted) Sloppy Joes before, so it was really kind of the server to bring me a small sample when I asked about it. It was delicious! The food was classic diner fare—nothing extravagant, but incredibly tasty. The service was excellent, so what more could you want? If we weren't taking a different route home, I would definitely stop here again to get my own Sloppy Joe for lunch!"

"This is the quintessential classic steakhouse in Indianapolis. Impeccable service. The servers are absolute pros. "This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"I had heard a lot about this place and was really looking forward to the experience. I 'll start by saying that it didn 't live up expectations in some ways but was still a good experience. First of all, I 'll start with decor and atmosphere. For a higher end place I definitely expected a little wow walking in but it all fell a little flat. The bathrooms had plastic paper towel dispensers that didn 't even match the tile or anything. Rolls of toilet paper just stacked on the back of the toilet, and the doors were just frosted glass so I could see the figure of someone sitting and moving around as I waited. Kind of awkward when I met them as they walked out. My turn! Our seats felt more like just shoved in a corner surrounded by walls on 2 sides so half the party just had a brick wall for their view. It wasn 't cozy, it was just kind of poorly laid out. Secondly, our waitress was unfamiliar with most of the menu and had to look at it several times and ask the chef a few times. It took 25 minutes for her to get our drinks, and 45 minutes until she took our order. She fumbled and struggled just to open a bottle of wine as we just awkwardly sat there and watched and waited. Then she we come back ever so often and not even speak, just grab a plate or glass and walk off. It was nothing terrible just not what I expected from a higher end place. I expected a competent and friendly server and all facets of place to be similar theme and feel. But... All that aside, the food was delicious and the drinks were well crafted and good selection of wine. We had the meat and cheese board, mesh salads, a NY strip, a filet, 2 Ribeyes, and the pork chop. Everyone loved each item and we finished with creme brulee, bread pudding, and ice cream. We walked out satisfied and full. I probably won 't be back however at least not with any regularity."

"I visited this location at the recommendation of our Uber driver. The restaurant was really busy but the servers were attentive. I ordered the blackened Cod which was served with green beans. The Cod was seared which gave it a somewhat crunchy delicious coating. The beans were fresh, but just tasted average. I sampled the pasta dish and it was delicious. The scallops and succotash was also great! One friend also tried the sliders and onion rings. The shrimp slider was made with a shrimp patty which as just okay. The onion rings are not rings, but instead onion straws. They were excellent. Great taste, texture and flavor. The cheesecake was good. One friend ordered Creme Brule to-go."

"We had dinner here on October 9. Was very excited to try it out because it has such great reviews. The waiter did not ask how I wanted my steak cooked so he just had it cooked how someone else at my table ordered theirs I guess. It took so long for him to come back, I did not say anything about it. I ordered the five cheese mac cheese and I was brought the lobster mac cheese. A very long time later I actually received the five cheese mac cheese and he told me he took care of the mac cheese on my bill. However, we were charged for both. I ordered a cranberry vodka, I received a soda and vodka, he did fix it, but I don’t understand why there were so many problems. Was not impressed at all. Overall, very disappointing."

"Pork chop is hands down the best thing here. It is an inch thick with nice grill marks on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. Pair that up with a killer sauce to dip in. It was quite incredible. Switched out the sides cause asparagus isgross. Walnut salad was remarkable and the salmon was cooked with the same care the pork chop is. Daddy Mac was everything Ihoped and dreamed. More pork than Mac, could totally have been a meal on its own, but we really enjoyed sharing it. Woulddefinitely order again. Pretzel was great, sauce it came with was good, easy to share, would order that again too. The cookiedessert is freaking awesome. Skillet is hot, cookie is gooey, ice cream melting over it all. Don?t skip. Sun king orangevanilla sunlight cream ale was everything I hoped and dreamed. I keep thinking I want to try other beers, but I haven?t talkedmyself into it yet. Overall it is damn good food, great beer selection, price is right, service was quick. Stop by if you?re intown."

"Went there last night and instantly fell in love with the place. The decor was modern, the crowd was very vibrant, very lively atmosphere all together. Soon after we got our table, they served the complimentary chips which were very crispy and tasty. Then we ordered Paella and Mango Shrimp Tacos, which were on our table within five-ten minutes. Paella, hands down the best one I ever tasted. The scallops were cooked to perfection. The tacos were very juicy and tangy from the inside and crunchy from the outside. They also gave us the option of sharing the food between us and asked if we wanted an extra scallop so that each of us could have one. The quantity was just right, although wouldn't have mind if it was a bit more. I mean we are small eaters and it was just right for us (one main course for each), so it could be less than enough for bigger bellies. And last but not the least, the dessert of the evening was Chovolate Flan. It was delicious. Just the perfect ending to our happy meal. So creamy and so tasty. I'm gonna come back for sure!"

"Our reservation was running behind, but we were forgiving based on it being a Friday evening. Walking in it wasn't really crowded, but it quickly filled up. We sat in the back of the restaurant, and it was so unbelievably loud. The server was very meek, and we could barely hear her. She was not attentive from clearing plates from the table to refills or even asking if we'd like another drink. The food we ordered was good, starting with an appetizer. Knowing we provided we were there for a birthday, there wasn't a dessert option. And, frankly, the server never even offered any recommendations like I'd expect at a place like this, knowing it was our first time (yes, we told her we had not been there before). I'm not sure we'd go back just based on noise volume and service. Maybe at a not so prime time/day. It was hard for our own tables conversation, and the service was nothing to write home about."

"Such a beautiful and happy place for dinner. $88 for a NY Strip and a Salmon dinner plus beer and a custom Old Fashioned, so very reasonable. Love the fireplace and the colorful bar installation. Very busy, but we could easily have a conversation on our booth, so great acoustics! Very comfortable seating. Generous cocktail pour. His NY Strip was well prepared and of good quality, large too. My salmon was very tasty, with a citrus flavor that was very light and I loved it. It is more well done, like I love it, so maybe order less well done if you like it less flaky. I would not order the mixed vegetables again-very undercooked, no flavor, tiny portion. The bleu cheese sauce he ordered for his steak had zero flavor and was liquid, not creamy. He loved his steak fries! BLT salad is a meal in itself and so yummy. Excellent food for the cost. Our server was delightful! There were lots of large crowds and intimate tables, so room for everyone. Well go again. This was our 4th visit in about 4 years."
