"The food here is delicious. Reservations are definitely recommended. It is a very busy place. Most restaurants just have 1-2 vegetarian dishes, so I was pleasantly surprised that they had an entire vegetarian tasting menu. That is so rare to find. The 6 course tasting takes about a couple hours and the dishes are very inventive. The service is pretty good as well. The experience could be so much better if there was a vegetarian protein source and the portion sizes were larger to better match the price of the tasting menu. You could alternatively include the wines in the base price to elevate the experience. Overall a good place to go for a special occasion. EDIT: Updating to 5 Stars. We visited the restaurant again after a year and loved the fact that Vida incorporated all my suggestions. The dishes did not repeat any vegetables, they included a vegan protein source in Tofu and the portion sizes were also larger. 100% recommended for a special occasion especially for Vegetarians."

Truly one of the most memorable meals of my life. The food, atmosphere, and service were out of this world. The cocktails were creative and well-balanced. Vida definitely earned repeat customers!

So delicious and unique! So many high end restaurants in Indy are your typical steakhouse type places, this is so much more creative. The staff is so personable and it?s very clear everyone there is passionate about their work. View menu

Service was excellent. The chef’s menu is always changing but they do have a main menu that stays the same. We enjoyed the course meal and decided to try things we wouldn’t normally eat. Plate presentation is great, portions appear small but we left full. Everything we eat was delicious and would definitely go back

We went to Vida's to celebrate two birthdays and had a wonderful time. The chef was thoughtful and executed every course beautifuly. All of the minute details makes a huge difference in his meals. Our server Mandy was very knowledgeable and was very sweet. The manager even came by and spoke with us and showed us a picture of his daughter. We had the six course meal, with wine, cocktails, and an extra dessert. Make sure you have 3 plus hours to dine, they do not rush through your dining experience. View menu

we came to vida to celebrate our jubilee; the reservation times were 9:00 and later, so we almost decided, but I am so glad that we did not. it was one of the best culinary experiences of our life. from amuse bouché to dessert, each cure is more and more tasty, and our cocktails were amazing. our server, thomas, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, led us professionally and his excitement about the eating he served, increases our own. he made it as if we were fed with a friend. we can wait to come back!

Incredible! Here we go again on a journey of new experiences. Tonight was Vida. It started of with the maitre d coming and welcoming us to Vida. Then the waiter was exceptionally knowledgeable about the different course ingredients and phenomenal knowledge about all the different types of drinks. I truly was impressed with his knowledge. We were seated at the front corner table which gave us an unobstructed view. The courses come either in one at a time in a set of four or a set of six. We chose four. After having left and sitting at home giving this review I can honestly say I'm fully sated. It is not overly pricy but it does have some expense. All alcohol is top shelf. One bottle was $2500...

"My son was in from California so we wanted to take him to Tony’s. We have been before and think highly of the restaurant. Positives: Calamari, wedge, steaks and pasta were very good.Positives: My mother who is very picky loved her steak although she did send it back because it was not hot when it came to the table. She still raved about it even after that. That is really something.Negatives: Lobster tail was so over cooked it came out all curled up. It took me a minute to even figure it out. I sent it back. They asked if I wanted another one. I said “no”. I was getting full anyway so no reason to add another to the bill since they obviously do not know how to cook it. Suggestion if you don’t know how to cook it then take it off of the menuNegative: Preoccupied waiter. I would have gotten a glass of wine with dinner. Waiter never asked. I have been to Tony’s before and have had very attentive waiters. Not this time.Negative: Not Tony’s fault but a large table by us were drunk and very loud. Negative: I have no desire to come back. Their steaks are very good but if you can’t cook a lobster tail it puts Tony’s as a great steakhouse in Indy at the bottom of the list. Their credibility is gone to me. Suggestion: Bringing a nice piece of desert to the table on the house would have been a nice gesture and then I may have wanted to come back. They had a full house so a party of was probably not a priority"

"Inside, you’ll find seating at tables and the bar, along with a pleasant patio area that overlooks the sidewalk. They also have a self-serve water station in the front. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. I chose to sit at the bar, and it appeared to have not been wiped down all day. The floor was quite dirty as well. The staff did what was necessary, but seemed to lack enthusiasm. You can customize your own bowl or select one of their signature options. Feeling adventurous, I decided to create my own bowl. Regardless of your choice, you start with a base. I opted for traditional sushi rice over brown rice and spring mix salad. Next, I had to select a protein. The size of your bowl determines how many scoops you receive. The regular size allows for two scoops, so I chose one scoop of spicy tuna and one of marinated salmon, although options like octopus, tofu, and shrimp are also available. After that, you can add various toppings and sauces. I have to admit, my bowl was quite tasty and packed with protein. The atmosphere was relaxed, with music playing softly in the background. Unlike the other location I've visited, this one doesn't offer shaved ice, just poke. Overall, I found this place to be just average compared to other locations I've tried, which is why I’m giving it a 3-star rating. The poke was decent, but everything else felt pretty standard at best."
