"For our 30th anniversary, it was a blessing to have come across a staff that really took the time to cater to me and my wife. Our reservation was a last minute decision, but by the way we were treated, you would have thought it was planned. We normally travel to the top Michelin Star restaurant in the world (just returned earlier this month from the no.1 rated in Spain, Malaga, and Portugal for a birthday celebration), but this year we decided to travel to CA, and stopped in at Ocean Prime while touring Beverly Hills. This turned out to be an excellent decision, as Andre, our Captain, was attentive, kind, caring and one who understood and embodied the mission and culture of the establishment. Andre and his little brother “Raul” (a running joke) were exceptional and made it special. Not to leave out the other staff, to include the hostesses who offered to take our photos upon arrival, and the valet attendant who was pleasant in just answering our questions, who also made it a memorable experience. Again, we are used to generosities such as these because we travel the world to eat at fine dining establishments; however, it was equivalent to our experiences at those establishments, and so it was refreshing to find it without it being planned.
