"Our experience here was beyond dismal, from start to finish. We were seated at a dirty table outside, and a family with kids who were yelling and running and crawling all over everything was immediately sat next to us, so we had to ask to be moved to another table. Our waitress made it clear from the time she came to took out drink orders that she didn’t want to be there. Arms crossed with a sour look on her face and sarcastic replies. Drinks took absolutely forever to come out, as did the appetizers after that. I was told they were out of what I ordered, which was risotto. Who runs out of rice..? My husband had an empty beer for about half an hour as our waitress passed our table several times and also ignored empty plates that just sat there. The table next to us was a large table, and she paid a lot of attention to them and treated them nicely while totally ignoring the two of us, so apparently tables who will leave a big tip are her priority. When the entrees finally arrived, they were seriously gross. My husband’s burger was beyond nasty. The patty was uneven and beyond over cooked. There was a hard egg on top. The buns were incredibly soggy, as it had obviously sat waiting to be picked up for a good long while. The fries were cold and soggy and overcooked. My $35 plate of lobster pasta was disgusting. The lobster was hard, rubbery, and clearly old. The pasta itself was so bland. We both barely ate any of our food and declined boxes, but our waitress couldn’t care less and didn’t bother to ask if anything was wrong with the food. We really regret going to this restaurant for our anniversary, it was truly awful."

"After enjoying the wide variety of established Medure brothers restaurants, we were excited to try Midtown Table for a birthday lunch with friends. When we walked in I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful decor. It’s bright, think light not obnoxious, and not crammed in crowded. Off to a good start! The menu offers a wide range of options that all sounded great. We ordered the truffle fries for a shared table starter. While the fries were cooked to perfection the amount of salt was off putting. No real truffle flavor could be found through the mound of salt. Yikes! We forged ahead. My hubs got the white pizza, friend one had their hand cut fettuccine and added chicken as well as shrimp. Friend two ordered fettuccine Alfredo. As for moi, I had the chicken Cesar salad. Everything came out in a timely manner and all together. Love that! Hubby said pizza was good but needed more sauce. It had almost none at all. Both pasta dishes got happy thumbs up. And know a chicken Cesar is not an exciting lunch option but hey, I’m not 20 anymore and have to watch what I eat! Hehehe I was really let down by my choice. I had really high hopes as this IS a Medurs establishment. The lettuce was crisp and cold, the tomato’s fresh and plum. The chicken was hot and beautifully grilled. My mouth was watering! I couldn’t wait to taste my salad. The chicken was indeed grilled to perfection but I think they must have used all the salt on the fries as there was so little seasoning on my chicken it was surprisingly and honestly a let down. The reason I give 3 stars is the food. The brothers are well known for amazing food and this didn’t deliver. I wish it had as everything else was great! I wish I could remember our servers name since she was a joy! I can tell you she wears a unique necklace with a pearl in it! If you can identify her please give her my sincere kudos! We may give midtown another try for dinner but not any time soon."
