"I've been a fan of this restaurant since it was located on Ogontz Ave, long before the Chestnut Hill spot opened. I visited the new location recently for a group happy hour, and we had a fantastic time! One of my friends couldn't stop praising the sweet potato and black-eyed pea soup. I sampled both the salmon and chicken tacos; they were both good, but the chicken taco stood out with its deliciously sweet and savory BBQ sauce. Several people in our group ordered the Brussels sprouts with turkey bacon, and they absolutely loved them! The Impossible Burger was another crowd favorite. The happy hour specials were excellent, too! I enjoyed a light and refreshing Riesling and apple cinnamon sangria. There was also live music that evening, which was a lovely bonus! This place is perfect for vegan and vegetarian options but will also satisfy meat lovers."

"As a diabetic, I stopped by the restaurant when I urgently needed something to eat to raise my blood sugar levels. However, they refused my cash payment for a $20 bill. While they accept cash tips for themselves, they wouldn’t take my cash for my meal. I explained my medical situation but didn’t have any other payment options. Even though there was a tip jar full of cash for making change, they turned me away and watched as I struggled to leave, holding onto what I could to make it back to my car."

"the only thing that turned me off was that everyone was greeted table around me by a server or performer. we had to ask someone to explain how we would order and make our first visit more pleasant. Now that I have “experienced” the restaurant, I will know what to do and not waste 45 minutes trying to find out how to order and not miss more services. because the time was limited to two hours, I was worried that we didn't have enough time to eat or drink. After the order we waited for 30 minutes for our first drink to reach our food. it wasn't sure if we had enough time to order a second drink we did, but it had to drink quickly as our two-hour meal was over."

"Nice staff and delicious food! I walked in and was quickly greeted. I told the cashier it was my first time in but I was looking to order a bowl. He quickly let me know they were out of the ocean mermaid and let me know what the other bowls contained. He was super nice and I ordered and acai bowl. My cashier also made my bowl and. Was fast at that as well. I loved the amount of coconut on top! So much better than the dusting of sweetened shredded coconut from the grocery store that I've had at other places."

"Caribbean Catering is AMAZING. Words cannot explain how grateful I am to them for going above and beyond for my wedding. This vendor is truly the full package as they provided all the décor for the event, bar services, food and dessert. The food of Caribbean Catering is absolutely delightful, as well as the dessert. On top if the services, the team also goes above and beyond with contacting and planning. I live in Philadelphia, so I was very skeptical in planning a wedding in Key Largo. Trinity always reached out to me and made me feel so included in the wedding process although I was in a different state, she was very clear with me and ensured that all went well with the planning.PS ALL of their apps are fantastic as we tried them at a taste testing, we had the chicken satay and crab cakes and scallops. They were all phenomenal.PSS. For our entrée, we went with Marinated Flank Steak, Lightly J Chicken with Pineapple Salsa, Grilled Pesto Vegetables and Caribbean Rice, which paired so well for the hot day as it was refreshing and delicious!"
