"Place was a little busy and staff seemed overwhelmed, but I don 't mind waiting. They have a sign on the counter that says, Please be patient, we are currently training Summer staff and they are working as fast as they can. Completely understandable. A young staff member completed my order correctly and I was standing next in line to pay. Them being new and the way they have it setup I guess is whoever takes your order checks you out. They either didn 't know this because they were new or were rushed because the line, no biggie. I can wait an extra couple minutes. What I can 't abide is the late 40s, slightly grey-haired man scolding this young worker because they didn 't know the shops process. He asked me who fulfilled my order. The person in the pink shirt. He said, HEY YOU IN THE PINK SHIRT, WHY DIDN 'T YOU RING HIM UP? They of course are caught off-guard while trying to complete another order, sheepishly try to explain themselves, and the manager is not having any of it so the staff member goes back to work. This man turns to me, scoffs, and says, I 'm so so sorry sir, good help is hard to find nowadays. Managed poorly. Never coming back after how disgusting that interaction was. To the manager: You are an adult, treat people with respect. To the staff member: I 'm sorry you have to deal with that on a daily basis."
