"The only drawbacks were the uncomfortable metal chairs on the patio, which were unpadded, and a couple of minor service hiccups, although our server was very friendly and skilled. Everything else was exceptional. As I mentioned, the overall service was impressive. The chips were crispy and warm, freshly made just for us. The salsas were flavorful and had the perfect level of spice. I chose corn tortillas with my meal, and they were also fresh and warm. I had the brisket migas, which were delicious, accompanied by refried black beans topped with cotija cheese and a generous portion of high-quality Spanish rice—not the cheap kind that looks like it came from a Play-Doh press. Be sure to visit Trudy's; it's definitely worth it!"
