"Always a great choice for family night or date night. The menu expands beyond traditional choices but each element of every plate seems to be prepared with care. The helpful, personable and attentive staff are open to changes and substitutions to ensure everyone gets exactly what they want. While the signature dishes such as the pollo con mole and shrimp relleno stand out, they never stand alone, the beans are always just right, the rice is always perfect, the vegetables always fresh. All the food for a course arrives at the table at the same time to ensure everyone is served together. Hot food is always piping hot. The details are taken seriously here and although you may not always notice at the time, they add up to make the entire experience a pleasant one."

Excellent atmosphere. Excellent staff. Excellent food. My only complaint would be that the spiciest sauce (chipotle was not spicy at all. The salsa had a little heat, so adding that helped. : . Either way, it still tasted amazing.

Meh...it has potential, but needs to find consistency. The cheese enchilada on my plate was up to my standard...sauce was not overpowering, and they use the correct cheese! My plate arrived extremely hot while another's plate came out cold, and thecheese was barely melted.

We often pass through Bastrop on our way to other places. One trip I asked someone who lives there to suggest a Tex-Mex restaurant and this place was highly recommended. We tried it and it became our place to get dinner on our way home. I havenever been disappointed. The decor is very Asian, Indian, and Mexican, but the food is Tex-Mex.

Great prices for the quality of food and we've always experienced very friendly service. Food is prepared promptly and we rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes for our orders to arrive (to be fair, we usually go during less busy hours). The watermelon margaritas are also made with real watermelon and not syrup which is always a big win in our book. Well, I just love their tortilla soup and almost always get some when I come here. It's very hearty with good chunks of veggies and a delightful small corn cob piece that is always sweet and delicious. To bad I ate the corn before thinking to take a picture. Also love their Margheritas served in the square stemmed glass. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful and mow recognize us when we come in. Pauline was especially good tonight. The restaurant is very colorful and welcoming, neat and clean and in full service now.
