"On my latest visit with my daughter, she ordered the child's plate with ground beef tacos, while I opted for a combination plate, our typical choice. She enjoyed her rice and beans, but mentioned that the ground beef smelled and tasted off. I tried the beef taco as well, and I found it to be overly greasy with a strange, almost chemical flavor. I also ordered a chicken tostada which was very dry and resembled the taste of tuna. The rice and beans were excellent, however, and the salsa was warm and flavorful. The service was satisfactory; one waitress managed half the restaurant while three others just stood around watching. They would assist her as needed. When I received the bill, I noticed I was charged for an extra drink. I informed the waitress, who promptly removed the charge and apologized. However, I also noticed that their prices have increased significantly by $2 to $6, which I don't think is worth it. Upon checking out, my total was $39.23, and after paying with a $50 bill, I expected $10.77 in change. The cashier was distracted on her phone and took a moment to acknowledge me. When I finally got my change, she only gave me $10. I asked where the rest of my change was, and she looked puzzled, calling over the waitress for help. She handed me three quarters without an apology, but at that point, I was done and just left. Unfortunately, my last two or three experiences have been similar, so my family and I have decided not to return. I might consider trying the other locations in the future, but this one is definitely off our list."
