"Service remained slow, and my food, when it did arrive, was average and nothing to write home about. However, the waitress did offer me a complimentary cocktail as an acknowledgment of the situation. I noticed the manager observing the dining area and checking in on other customers, but he never came over to speak with me.
To top it off, an 18% service charge was added to my bill. I typically tip well and only see service charges for large groups. As I was leaving, I shared my concerns with the manager because I believed it was important to give him direct feedback. He apologized, but it felt insincere, and he made no effort to rectify the situation or ask how he could encourage my return.
As a frequent business traveler, I value restaurants that treat solo diners with respect, and unfortunately, this was not the case here. I won't be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant."
