"Restaurant R’evolution was a wonderful dining experience. The service was well paced, friendly and certainly added to the overall experience. We started with gumbo and turtle soup, moved to the entrees of duck, red fish and bayou alligator cake, then the desserts and coffee. Each plate was presented beautifully. The desserts were not too sweet and completed the meal. Every member of the staff was delightful."

"Crocodile was one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. Sadly we were out of town and live 6 1/2 hours away, because we will really crave their food! We were greeted so warmly by the owner herself and she stopped at our table several times to chat and see how we were doing she was super warm and personable! Every single thing brought to our table was to die for from starting with the warm, crusty baguette and delicious butter and hummus to the salad to our entrees. My husband and I both ordered the cassoulet which we never find on menus in restaurants near where we live. We were so pleased with this dish the concentration of flavors was amazing! It was also served so nicely in a little cast iron dish absolutely perfect! Overall it was an exquisite meal!"

"Not ready for prime time. This should have been a really great place to dine. Instead we had a brand new waitress who repeated very well the farm to table speech we ate both lunch and dinner at Poppy but couldn't open a bottle of wine, when opened had to be coached to pour a taste for the gentleman who ordered and then comically she left the bottle on the table without pouring in each glass on the table. She came by the table every minutes and seemed intent on clearing the table even though it was evident we were still eating. She was a sweet personality and well versed in the tag line. She really needed better training in serving a table. Shame on the management for this.The food was adequate at best making it over priced. We will find somewhere else to eat when in College Station next.Should have been a really great place to dine"
