"Honestly, this was the worst sushi I've ever had in my life. I ordered the dragon roll, and it had a really unpleasant smell. After tasting one piece, I was immediately put off by the poor quality of the eel, which was far from fresh and seemed like it had been sitting out all day. The other roll I tried was slightly more tolerable, but it still had an off taste, which I suspect came from the imitation crab inside. Overall, the food was disappointing and lacked fresh, high-quality ingredients. I really dislike writing negative reviews, but their sushi was just that bad. Save yourself the trouble—don’t go there."

"I've been here with my bf several times. This time the service was lackluster. We waited an hour for our food and the waiter forgot my order so I ended up eating off my boyfriend's plate. The Mgr was very nice and apologized to us.. The noise level at the bar was increasingly loud thanks to two diners who clearly had too much to drink. Don't think I'll be visiting again anytime soon."

"I had an amazing experience at the hibachi station during my recent visit to this restaurant. The hibachi chef was not only skilled at cooking but also entertaining and enjoyable to watch. The meal he prepared for us was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to return for another visit soon. He was also very accommodating with dietary restrictions, offering meals without sauce or salt when needed. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was really pleasant. The price per person ranged from $10 to $20, which is quite reasonable. I highly recommend trying the Sushi Chef, Hibachi Filet Mignon, Scallops with Mixed Vegetables, California Roll, Sushi, and Onion Soup."

"Let me start by saying the food is fantastic. Not too heavy or fancy/. Too often at a high end restaurant you walk away feeling like you overate, but here the food is well-balanced and flavorful, and, most importantly memorable. My main issue is with the way the tables are setup. In the back, the shared table space ruins the experience. Diners are not warned that they’ll be sitting with strangers sitting so close you are basically dinner guests sharing in the same conversation. My wife, sitting across from me, couldn’t hear most anything I said was in direct earshot of our neighbor. Granted, this made for interesting gossip after dinner but wasn’t what I had in mind for our date. We also had to wait far too long for our “table” and the bar was full, meaning we were standing awkwardly sandwiched between the bar and brick wall while waiters passed through. Would go again but insist on a regular table."

"I refuse to listen to anyone again on sushi because Sushi Iwa in Clayton was the worst sushi I've had in my entire life. It looked absolutely incredible. But the General Tso's was tasteless. You could tell it was store bought because there was nochicken. Only breading. AND the rice and broccoli was tasteless. The sushi and wasabi had a strong ammonia taste to it that sentme straight to the bathroom and let me know that it was not fresh. I've never spit sushi out and REFUSED more sushi. the spicymayo looked like poo and had no taste, and I was brought the wrong sushi. I will never go back. Restaurant was dirty. Food washorrible. Order was all wrong. Our server, the minced beef spring rolls, and the plum wine was the best thing there."

"First timers here and we were blown away! My kids wanted sushi (and not just the fresh stuff from HEB . They wanted REAL sushi at a nice place, so we indulged here, due to friends mentioning it and recent reviews read. We were impressed with the fresh (and copious amounts food and incredible wait staff. We had a super kind waitress with glasses and braces, as she was SO gracious and quick! It was fairly full in the restaurant, but plenty of staff (all very kind, quick, nice . We ordered the bimbipap (sp rice bowl with meat/veggies, the spicy ramen, the yakisoba w/shrimp (LOTS of shrimp! and the yakisoba (Udon noodle with meat. All terrific, fresh and ...just awesome! We got there just before 6pm (happy hour 4 6pm and ordered some sushi quickly for the kids....SO good and inexpensive! Such a great deal on price for such great food! Make sure to tip your nice waitress at least 25% (ours was SO quick and attentive!"

"We hadn't had a great dining experience until we visited Umami! Everything was outstanding! Our server also served as the bartender, and in hindsight, we probably should have just eaten at the bar, but that’s alright. Since my husband and I don’t get out often, we decided to enjoy some sushi and have a few drinks. The hot sake was delicious! The sushi was fantastic, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place. I can't wait to try more next time!"

"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food."

"We had reservations in the hot hut outside..which was remarkable..very unique and fun way to eat dinner!! It took awhile to set the table and it was busy so no big..but felt like the server insisted it was our fault the table wasn't ready for a reservation..but hey..all good they were stressed. We had amazing service thereafter so it all worked out. Food wasn't as exceptional as what we were expecting...but the dining experience made up for it. I had the blackened chicken..once again 7/10 the lady had a salad..can't really mess that up. Can't wait to go back!!"

"Came in with my family for the first time. Thankfully only one other table was seated. A party of two. Absolutely no one else came in during our dine in experience. We ordered. After about 10 minutes of waiting. Food came pretty quick and looked pretty nice, but my one appetizer never came. Only until we asked for the check did the lady ask oh you didn 't get your appetizer . At this point we already knew they forgot so whatever. I just said it 's okay, at this point we 're ready to leave. Everyone 's eaten and we don 't want to wait 20 more minutes for one appetizer. She looked angry and said so cancel? I laughed and said has it been started yet or did they forget? her reply was were super busy .. only 2 orders came out of the kitchen during this time. Small portion, expensive and service is just rude after making mistakes. Never got a sorry either."

"we live in the opposite of nashville and go to the inner city for concerts at bridgestone, symphony concerts and preds hockey games. about the only sushi we're on the way is the kroger. I grew up on sushi in la, a sushi bar every corner, we don't love meeban because of its position on the 2nd avenue, we love it because it has damn good sushi. I can't tell them about the menu items, we never order them, but I can tell them that sushi is always fresh and tastes like it. therefore I give them 5 stars. service is great, saki is great, beer is cold, and the sushi will not disappoint them."

"I cannot say enough good things about Krua Khun Yah Thai Restaurant! (Ashland, Shaws plaza) Everything was fresh and exceptionally made, down to my unusual requests. This was actually one of the best meals of my life. I ordered Pad See You with crispy chicken special request to add an egg wrap on top (Chef's kiss perfection!!! a server even said I inspired her to try it the same way after her shift tonight). I also got a brown sugar bubble tea with boba and, because I am a menace to society, a shot of Tito's from the bar to make it a boozy boba All of the servers/staff were so friendly, patient, and helpful, and they even served me fried ice cream on the house because I was celebrating my belated birthday with family. Thank you so much!! Will definitely be back soon..."

"There is no better sushi in Princeton. But it's all else that drives this place before the pack for me. Staff are consistently outstanding in their customer service, and they tend to have a kind of soft/small/fast way that fits very nicely into the atmosphere of this small Japanese restaurant. You always ask me if I want a salad or a false soup to go with my order (I always takeout, include chipsticks and soy sauces and what not without asking, and to pack the order with care. Once I got a small bag of candied Pecans as a free dessert, and once again I found a free piece of art on my bag when I came home (see photo). When I arrive early and they still do it, I get the exquisite care they put in their craft. I find it difficult to articulate what is so special in this place, so I will simply summarize it as a very impressive transplantation of authentic Japanese culture and kitchen. (Is it the best sushi in Princeton? Maybe. It could be linked to one or two other places if compared only with food quality. Princeton has several sushi places that are regarding their tariff, as far as I can say, although I'm not a sushi expert."

"Ignorance is bliss. This was my favorite place. One of my favorite appetizers is the Potato Shrimp. Recently when I tried to order it, I was informed the supplier is out of stock. It is a sad day when it is too hard to peel a potato into the shoe string and then wrap it around a shrimp and fry it. I wish that this was my only issue. My second favorite appetizer is the Tuna Stack. Who doesn?t love Tuna. Well when I ordered it, it was much different than the previous times Ihad had it, and it did not have cucumbers like the menu stated. I looked through other photos posted, and the Tuna Stack has gone through many iterations, but I don?t think the menu has ever been updated to reflect the changes norvariations. This a BIG deal consider allergies. You can?t advertise one thing but present another. People can get sick or worse. Tuna stack this was not. There was more filler than fish. From what I could make out, tasted more like radishvariant than pear. I ordered the Super Rainbow Roll because it had double the fish. As you can see in the picture it just looks like a regular rainbow roll. Consistency and quality is lacking. Lastly, when I arrived I was told I had towait which is totally understandable. While waiting a group of four arrived and said they had a reservation. The lady at the front scoffed with a sound in response and then walked away. The group was eventually seated. When it came time forme to be seated, I looked around there were 6 seats at the sushi bar, 4 tables, 1 large table, and 2 booths open. In the time that I had been waiting, only 4 people had left."

"Really good sushi in Tribeca. The vibe inside is really good welcoming and fun. We had great sushi and ramen. The wait staff were very nice just took a little long for them to remember to keep checking in us and it wasn't that full so a little off. Plus they brought out each of our 3 meals at different times which was a little odd as we then weren't eating together for the whole time. Other than that food was excellent and very cute nice restaurant. Prices were medium."

"The atmosphere and everything was nice, my husband and I came here for our anniversary and we ordered quite a few things. The sushi was good, and the Kani salad was reeeally good and short of refreshing, but the ramen bowls didn't hit the mark for us. I got regular, and my husband got the miso ramen. You have to really be strong to get through the miso... it's an acquired taste. But overall, the experience was really nice, I just expected the ramen to be a little more flavorful because it looked amazing."
