"Let me start by saying the food is fantastic. Not too heavy or fancy/. Too often at a high end restaurant you walk away feeling like you overate, but here the food is well-balanced and flavorful, and, most importantly memorable. My main issue is with the way the tables are setup. In the back, the shared table space ruins the experience. Diners are not warned that they’ll be sitting with strangers sitting so close you are basically dinner guests sharing in the same conversation. My wife, sitting across from me, couldn’t hear most anything I said was in direct earshot of our neighbor. Granted, this made for interesting gossip after dinner but wasn’t what I had in mind for our date. We also had to wait far too long for our “table” and the bar was full, meaning we were standing awkwardly sandwiched between the bar and brick wall while waiters passed through. Would go again but insist on a regular table."

I had been wanting to go for a while and it was worth it. Everything was outstanding, especially the service. The arctic char was too salty for me to finish, I should have said something when I was there but I was on a date and didn't want to make a fuss.

our group enjoyed table esel and stick. we had a bigger group, and they were very accredited as we made and changed the reservation. the server were all very pleasant and helpful, and eating was quite good. the famous burger was very good, but the tagiatelle was even better. View menu

Overall great, cozy environment. Option to sit at the bar (with some locations allowing you to watch the kitchen create your dish) or at tables in the front or back. Eclectic decor reflected on the menu ranging from a variety of European countries. Great food, atmosphere, service.

They always knock it out of the park! Excellent food and drink in a cozy space that highlights the ambiguous romance of the Alps and Bohemia. Is it Swiss? Austrian? Greman? Italian? Doesn't matter because you feel like you're in a Chalet a world away from Logan Square. They are also very kind at accommodating food allergies! Thank you, we will be back again soon :

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
