"I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could! As someone with Italian parents and grandparents, it's rare for me to find a place with authentic Italian food, but this place is exactly that! They were able to accommodate our large party (a cross-country team) for our pre-meet dinner with parents. The service from start to finish was absolutely incredible. We had an amazing experience and the meals were top-notch. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area! Our team will definitely be returning! Cheers!"

"I visited this restaurant while on a business trip in the area. The atmosphere was nice and the server was friendly, although not very knowledgeable about the menu items. I ordered a couple of pizzas and a chicken parmigiana, and found the prices to be reasonable. The food was of good quality and the portions were generous. I would definitely return to eat here, especially for the delicious fig and prosciutto pizza. Overall, the service was for dining in and the meal type was dinner. The average price per person was $20-30. I recommend trying the pizzas and the Chicken Parmigiana Pasta with Marinara Sauce."

"The service we received at this restaurant was very friendly and attentive. We chose to split the antipasti for one, which was simple with only cold cuts and two slices of provolone, but it lacked dressing. My companion ordered the lasagne, which was a good size and delicious, although he was informed that it was meatless when it wasn't. I decided on the Veal Marsala with mushrooms, which was tasty and had tender veal (something rare in most restaurants). The portions were generous and reasonably priced. Despite not being in my neighborhood, I would probably come back again."

"The food is generally good, and I’ve rarely been disappointed. However, I did have one experience where I ordered the steak quesadillas, which came with rice, guacamole, and beans. Unfortunately, the guacamole was quite unappetizing, possibly because it was overripe, so I ended up leaving it untouched. Honestly, that's something you shouldn't encounter at a restaurant. As for the service, it can be a bit slow, with delays in getting the food. There’s also a rude waitress who really detracts from the overall experience, but aside from that, the rest of the staff is quite friendly. I absolutely love the ambiance in this place; it’s one of the reasons it’s one of my favorite dining spots. It makes me feel good and welcomed. I also adore the decor and the way the tables are arranged."

"This place has it all a wonderful Italian hometown atmosphere perfect service and great food The staff is so attentive they wait on your every need. The restaurant looks like an old village has the cutest wine bottles hanging around the ceiling in the windows they greeted my guest and I with a slice of cheese pizza to sample which is why we ordered the d'Angelo special pizza as an appetizer it comes with every topping Great way to start and wonderful leftovers when I got back home My friend order fried jumbo shrimp, and they were large came with Caprese tomatoes and a House salad and a side of fettuccine Alfredo I got the fruta de mare Full of seafood, shrimp, clams, muscles octopus in a rich red sauce The octopus was cooked perfectly, was not rubber had a great flavor was such a large portion was able to make two more meals out of it after I got home Had to have desert had the Cannolis with candied cherries on each end, and a drizzle of chocolate Crispy, crunchy and creamy what a way to end a meal cannot wait to go back They have a very nice private parking lot Lucky for us. They were open continuously serving all day. We did not get there till like 4 pm late lunch early dinner for us"

"The restaurant is a little gem with a very elegant and at the same time cozy atmosphere. The service is outstanding, especially a young man that I think is the manager. The cocktails are very good, and the wine list really very long and varied. The food is good and tasty, especially the mango sorbetto. I'm planning on going back to try other specialties."

"My husband and I ate here for the first time after touring a home for sale in the area. We got a place to sit quickly, the walls are covered in artwork for sale, and the staff was friendly and quick to serve. The booths and tables are a little out dated,but it was a clean. We placed our order, and it was delivered quickly. I felt bad that I kept getting phone calls from clientsduring our meal, but the server was very patient and understanding when coming by to check on us. They kept the drinks full andthe food was delicious and healthy."

"I ordered a personal pan pizza with pepperoni. It was so delicious with the right amount of cheese and sauce and not overly cheesy. About 45 minutes later after eating my first pizza and sharing it with a family member I ordered a second pizza pie for delivery through doordash. Marisa was so observative to notice that I had just ordered a pizza not long ago and gave me a free upgrade to a large pizza the second time around for free. Very kind of Marisa and the great pizza making team of Pizzarelli. "Went with the family for dinner before a movie across the street. Got the pull apart cheese bread and fried calamari as appetizers and they were excellent. Ordered 2 pizzas, a simple sausage and pepperoni and an Italian beef and giardinare which was absolutely amazing! Everyone had their fill and the entire experience was very pleasant. Service was great and atmosphere is what you would expect from a higher caliber pizza establishment. Top that off with soft drinks and draft beer to put the cherry on top of a wonderful evening. Highly recommend this as one of my favorite local pizza places. "Disclaimer: I have never dined at this location, only delivery. That being said, I have ordered from here 3x and every time something was wrong with the order. I ordered the shrimp Romulus in the past, they sent penne with capers sauce and no protein at all. Uber Eats Gave me a refund, but seriously? Before that I ordered 2 pizzas and they only sent one ?! , again Uber Eats reimbursed me. The today they send me 2 lobster bisque that have NO FUKN LOBSTER AT ALL!! Some chopped up ravioli in some kind of vodka sauce that wasn't bisque. I heard such good stories about this place, they must all be just that, stories. Thrice burned, never again, so much better pizza establishments on the island."

"I first went here about 20 years ago. Now that I live here, I can go more often! Cheeses from around the country and the world, along with biscuits, crackers, and other treats. I’ve been getting hooked on the Italian cheeses, which my body tolerates better than American cheeses. Plus housewares. Nice, helpful people.In the summers they host food trucks. But I wish they had a French cafe, which I think they did at some point. The pizza I had from a food truck last week sounded like it would be great, but was just ok. There was no salt in the crust. Not this store’s truck, obviously. I’ll still shop there. Just wish they had their own deli or something with goods made from European flours and cheeses."

"The positives: The Grandma pizza is thin, crispy, and packed with flavor. The Chicken Parmesan pan pizza is rich and satisfying, with perfectly breaded chicken and a great balance of ingredients. The negatives: The BBQ chicken pizza is a soggy disaster. The chicken is not breaded, and instead of being drizzled on top, the BBQ sauce gets mixed into the cheese, making it watery. I wonder if the excessive amount of onions might be contributing to the sogginess. I’m so let down that I can't see myself ordering from there again anytime soon. Service: Delivery."

"The place always delivers. They weee very busy so our server was running around. It would take long sessions from getting g that menu and placing drink orders to them having them come back to take our appetizers order. I would say over 20 min. So that was a bit annoying. The server was very nice and accommodating but seems they could be short staffed. If you go, the atmosphere is amazing, drinks (some come stronger than others) were good and not pricey. Food is always on point so you can’t go wrong."

"To start off the food is not bad. The problem ended up being with the delivery guy. This was our second time ordering here. We waited while watching some tv for the phone to ring for delivery. When it did ring the guy was making himself upset saying loudly our phone was not on, started being argumentative carrying on. Some guy in a Canadian shirt/sweater The phone was on fully charged and we had just got off the phone with someone else 10 minutes prior. We noticed after he left the text we got from him said Come get your food Now! Even if there a phone issue it definitely wasnt on our end and lets say if it was there is no reason to act like that. Its unfortunate as we enjoyed the food but we wont tolerate this type of behavior so thats the last time we will order from here. 3/5 as the Food again was good imo. Just need to get a driver with a better attitude"

"Today was my first time eating at Thacher Rye and I’m ecstatic to say it was not be my last. I stumbled upon the restaurant after a quick Google search that screamed “EAT HERE” There are many places suggested for best brunch in Frederick and I’ve tried many of them; Jojo’s, Nola, Up on Market St and Hootch and Banter (to name a few and nothing, I mean nothing, compares to the service and quality of food as Thacher Rye. Immediately upon entering I was concerned that I was under dressed since I had just came up to get a beard trim and was dressed in athletic wear. The extremely handsome and very friendly Jordan, who greeted me with the kindest smile ever, assured me that I was ok. He gave me a quick tour of the dining room (which is so beautiful, like the entire building and we decided to sit at the bar with the incredibly charismatic and stunning Hannah! Hannah was multitasking like crazy all while making incredible eye contact and killing the customer service game. Chick Fil A should send their employees to Hannah for training! I had kind of made my mind up with what I was going to eat and after hearing Hannah’s suggestions, I stuck with what I wanted. Which was a mistake. Always listen to the employees!!! Now don’t get me wrong, my food was incredible, but now I can’t stop dreaming of Shakshuka. I did decide to add the Grits which are the best I’ve had anywhere outside of Atlanta. What a treat to discover this restaurant today. Now I just need a nap Thanks to everyone who made my first time eating here so incredible!!"
