""I recently visited a restaurant that claims to serve Yokohama ramen, but I didn't find anything that resembled what I am used to back home.
Starting with the broth, it was very watered down. The noodles, which were supposed to be thick, were actually quite thin. The server even mentioned that the thin noodles were thinner than usual! It was difficult to enjoy the taste of the noodles, and they resembled instant noodles that you might find in a package from Indonesia. They were overcooked and overly soft.
I ended up paying over $40, including tips, for just one miso ramen and two Kirin beers.
To the owner: please respect the culture and the customers who visit your restaurant. I encourage you to learn about authentic ramen culture before opening a restaurant. Many people may not have the knowledge or experience, so please don’t mislead them.
Thank you,
Kenichi Miyamoto""
