"This review needs a lot of clarification because we love the jazz night Thursday 7-8:30pm. However it is the worst managed affair and hasn’t changed in over a year or more. Our server was nice but whatever process they have to go through to get a drink order filled takes 20-30 minutes. Food takes even longer. When other staff comes with the drinks or food they take it to the wrong table then circle around or put it in front of the wrong guest! This is NOT a rare occurrence. They finally lit all the new cheap table candles with their thread width wicks and they all promptly burned out. One server got new candles for his three tables but the rest of the room got none. We ordered two drinks at once because we know getting second service is rare. For food I ordered their Boudin Blanc listed as Foie Gras, duck breast, parsnip purée and jus. Listed as an appetizer I expected a tiny portion of each item. What it really is, is a white (mostly parsnip) 3” quennelle shaped mousse of the ingredients. I suppose as it’s called a boudin I should have realized that, but I was sitting in the dark. The jazz starts at 7 and lasts 90 minutes. They didn’t start seating last night until 6:55pm (sometimes earlier it’s not consistent). This results in getting your drink 20 minutes or more after the jazz starts and the crazy service dance lasting all the way through the performance. There has to be a better way to handle these nights. You’d at least expect them to have table numbers and seat positions so when the drinks and food come they end up with the right person at the right table. And get quality fake candles, the servers have enough to do. On a positive note the room is lovely and intimate and when Nicole Pesce is playing piano, the jazz is wonderful though the sax was a little louder than usual last night. Also management called when my friend left her credit card so we could return to pick it up. He met us at valet, a professional touch. We keep hoping for improvement."

"Okay... E3... They 've been on my list since they opened but we just haven 't made time to go. I 'm glad we finally did and can confidently say that, based on my experience last night, this is one of the best steakhouses in Nashville. They have been open since November 2019, just before you know what, and had all the same struggles as everyone else in the service industry, but over the last six months or so they 've been able to make an incredible come back. A couple different GMs, a couple different chefs, etc, etc. That said, the team that is there last night absolutely seems to have their stuff together. We were able to meet several members of the staff and every single one of them was extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Service is obviously the driving factor here and it was, in every way possible, top notch. This is a high end restaurant and the experience, obviously, comes with a higher price tag. That said, there were several things I noticed during service that absolutely elevated the experience and made the cost worth it for us. One was the interaction of the staff with their guests. The section of the restaurant in which we were seated was basically in the middle of the room giving us rhe opportunity to see most of what was going on and from what I could tell everyone was well taken care of. For us personally, our server (Sofia and server assistant (Maria were both engaging and knowledgeable, table side exchanges with both Chef Steven and the sommelier (Dino were professional but friendly, and we also had an opportunity to meet the new GM (Michael who was beyond generous with his time and gave us a quick tour of the restaurant after dinner. There were a few other things like Sofia sharpening our steak knives at the table before presentation and Maria bringing a trolley to the table to box our leftovers that were just nice little extra touches that made the experience better and I personally enjoyed the entire evening. We will definitely return. (Oh... Complimentary valet parking is also available. Not having been, I was a little confused on how to get there, but trust your GPS. It was right and I didn 't listen. "Honestly, I'm so bummed. I had been wanting to try this place for a LONG time. Finally got around to going. We had a reservation for 630pm, they took us right away. Wasn't very busy at all when we got there (although it did fill up towards the end of themeal). I started with a beer off the tap, it was delicious and they did have a decent beer selection. We started with the cheeseplate appetizer. Out of the 4 or 5 cheeses maybe 1 (cheddar) was really good, the rest were just ok, as one person said beforethe bread etc that accompanied the cheese was scarce...but again, appetizer. For dinner we both ordered the lobster shrimpbutter risotto. The risotto was mush and the lobster seemed like it was cooked twice over. Small lobster to begin withespecially for almost 40 dollars. The flavor was decent of the risotto but it was OVERPOWERED with fennel. So much so that mywife had to stop eating it halfway through because all she could taste was the licorice. We ordered the peach bread pudding fordessert. Ice cream was good, the bread pudding was too bread like, not enough milk or moisture. Seemed more pound cakey thanbread pudding. And there wasn't a peach or peach flavor to be found. The bill came and it was pricey! We don't normally look atthe cost of things...if we're going out, we're going out...but this was enough to jump off the page for what we ate. I wanted tocome have a pour of bourbon, but to be honest I was so taken back by the pure disappointment dish after dish, that I wouldn'thave enjoyed it so I just said nvm. We won't be back and I'm deeply disappointed by that."

"We had the pleasure of dining at Dio Deka last Saturday and Sunday evening. We were staying at Hotel Los Gatos and had a reservation for Sunday but decided to see if we could get in on Saturday last minute... even though they were very busy... they squeezed us in. I heard wonderful things about Chef Kevin and I couldn’t wait to dine here and he didn’t disappoint!! Both nights our experience at this charming restaurant was excellent! Starting from Service... Saturday with Jeremy and Sunday with Daniele. Both took very good care of us and both went over and beyond. The food, wine cocktails were absolutely Amazing! Some of my favorites Starters Warm pita bread Yum!Grilled Octopus very flavorful and tender, not chewy. Craving it right now!Scallops perfectly cooked and delicious. Crab Cake I am not a fan of crab cakes. The few times I have had them they are so dry and bland, but not this one! You actually taste the crab and tastes so fresh. Delicious!Village Salad I ordered both nights. So refreshing with chilled cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, bell pepper, olives, and a block of feta... I know it’s just a salad, but it’s the best! For the Main course Airline Chicken Mary’s chicken so tender and with great flavor. Osso Buco I heard this was Chef Kevin’s Grandma’s recipe. I didn’t try it but my Hubby said it was stars Truffle Burger I did try this one and it has to be one of the best burgers I’ve ever had!! Tons of flavor! As for the desserts... I honestly don’t know what each one was but they were all delicious and made to perfection by Chef Enzo This place is stars all the way! It definitely did not disappoint and I can’t wait to go back!! I highly recommend"

"Always a great meal! The food is fantastic. The chefs are qualified culinary flavors. If you don't like the meal, something is wrong with you. If Applebee's or Olive Garden Your regular places are, this place is not for you. Although you are welcome to learn what qualified chefs and bakers can do. Amazing. I had the Bonsanto(? I cannot remember the names very good beef short rib), simply melted in the mouth full of taste and a creamy risotto that fills your mouth like a warm blanket. A bite and you know you're in the right place. My fiancée had the special, fillet again mignon, amazing. A steak is over the oven. It was so delicate that you could cut it with a fork. Cooked for perfection with a unique sweet potato layer underneath. Always a great meal. With excellent knowledge and professional staff. Our waitress remembered the special thing about the highest detail and sold practically how it was prepared. Then there was desert. Again amazing. The cooks have won national prices and you can really say the difference in the bakery. I'm sorry, can't remember the name, but it was Pecan cake? See photo. That's how happiness tastes. The cakes are unlike anything in Rhode Island, very refined and elegant not a bashing of sugar and taste, but a wave of layers that inspire your taste buds as you eat the cake. A healthy portion safe, but still worth getting yourself. This cake you want to share. Well done, Sienna! Well done!"
