"Came in around 9 pm to eat at the diner since it’s a mile from where I live. I ordered the man v food burger, and was excited to take on the challenge . Unfortunately, the challenge was being able to finish it because of how bad the burger tasted. Either the patties were old, boiled , something else because they had a distinct smell and rubbery texture. The “park sauce” was okay, and the “caramelized onions” were just raw onions mixed with the park sauce. The grill cheese bread that tops the double Pattie burgers were shameful. the top one had bacon , lettuce, and unmelted sliced cheese . The bottom bread was just two slices of bread stuck together with oil/grease. I had about three bites of this and had to call it quits. My girlfriend got a western burger with a turkey patty. She had to put hers down after getting halfway because she bit into something that “popped” and said something awfully pungent came out. We didn’t even try to look because we were both disgusted with the quality of the food. We asked for the check, quickly Paid the bill and left feeling sick. Went home and the food came right up for me. I’ve read the other reviews and was excited to try this spot. However, after tonight’s unfavorable dining experience, I will not be returning nor do I recommend this place."

"Short summary: The restaurant mistakenly gave me a bagel with no egg and cheese. I was told I was lying when I called in. I came into the restaurant to show the owners and they send a man to me who tried to intimidate me in front of a packed restaurant. The man was standing about a foot behind me on the side of the restaurant that customers are on, and continuously tapped my shoulder. The man continued to tell me I’m lying, with his reasoning being my employees said so. Before getting the chance to kick me out of the store, they figured out they made a mistake. His tone then changes and he walks away from me, however they ignored me and offer no way to fix the situation. After asking for a refund, The woman comes out and tried to shove a bagel to me; even after I refused. She reluctantly gives me a $5 bill screams to never come back. The same owner ran out the back door and up the hill to scream at me as I walked to my car. Full story below: I I ordered a cheese and egg bagel. I return home to find there was no cheese or egg on the bagel. I called the restaurant and let them know and a woman who said she was the owner stated “I Made it myself, I know it’s on there” she was unwilling to budge and was set that I was lying about the egg and cheese. Just because that was unexpected I tell her I’ll take a picture right now and bring it in to show you. I come back to the restaurant to be greeted by no one. I am seated at the booth and all of the employees are on the employee side who are interacting with customers at the booth. Next, I get a tap on the shoulder from an extremely large man, about 6’2 300 lbs+, who simply states “Whatsup”. Given he was behind me, where customers are I assumed he was a customer so I didn’t reply. He then taps me from behind again and states “Whatsup”. I explain to him that my order was messed up. He then accused me of the changing the wrapping that they used for the bagel, taking off the egg and cheese, and says that his employees said they made it right so it’s right. I am dumbfounded at this point. While he’s standing there, I ask the woman owner why she keeps saying she put bacon in the bagel when my bagel never had bacon. She then says oh, we have two orders under your name. The man standing behind me then says oh it must’ve been a mistake. I ask for a reason That they are being so harsh and confrontational with me and he states “I can’t have a conversation with you” and walks away. 4 other customers in the store who are next to me are telling me that they’re sorry for how the owners are treating me. The other customers agreed that the large man who approached from behind and tapped me was there to intimidate me and was acting aggressively. After this no one is talking about how they will rectify the situation. I ask for a new bagel and after 10 more minutes I simply ask for a refund. The owner comes out and slams a bagel in my face, I tell her I do not want this and I want a refund. She aggressively pushes the bagel at me again, and said here’s your bagel. I repeat, I want a refund. She then storms over to the register, and takes out a $5 bill and screams “I don’t ever want you back in here”. To top it all off, after I’m leaving the restaurant the owner runs out the back of the building to meet me and scream at me as I’m walking to my car. Worst service and people I’ve ever dealt with. The food quality wasn’t the best but the service is absolutely horrendous and the entitlement of these people is astonishing. Enter at your own risk. For context I’ve only left one bad review in my lifetime."

"We drove home from a week's holiday and my husband wanted to try son of Thurman. It was about a 20-minute waiting period that was good until they told us we had to wait outside in the icy cold with snow mix and our 1 year old daughter. It was because of Kovid and I subordinated that to some extent, but no one wore masks in this entire restaurant and there was a family there waiting for place. So we went outside and I looked over the street and saw this really cute Burgerplatz, which was the Hamburg guest house. I called by to see if they had an open seating, not to realize that it is all the mating seats and asked The young man when they let people wait outside. His answer was Oh Deity no. I said we're on the road we're on the way forward. As soon as we went to the young man who was new and set us up so fast. Had this very cool chair attached to the counter. He was so incredibly friendly and gave us the BEST service! The staff was as friendly and I loved how you could see how you make your food right in front of you. Our food was delicious and our little one loved her cheeseburger. The atmosphere was great. ,I'm glad the other place told us that we had to wait outside because if they didn't, we didn't have to experience this little jewel of a restaurant. If you are going through or living in this area and have not been, I highly recommend this place. We will be sure again!!!!"
