"This restaurant has really declined since my last visit about three months ago—it's now a complete rip-off. When we finished, the server hurriedly directed us to the register without providing a check. When I asked for the bill, she handed me a sign indicating a 5% discount for cash payments and eventually told me the total was $44.46. Upon questioning the price, she recalculated it, and it surprisingly came to $44.20. I was astounded by the disorganization. Later, while reviewing the menu, I discovered I had been overcharged for a one-piece grilled chicken dinner.
The only highlight of the meal was the cornbread. We also overheard other customers expressing their dissatisfaction with their chicken dishes. It's disappointing that a restaurant known for its chicken has trouble getting that right. The fried green tomatoes were undercooked and greasy. Overall, I would rate the food a 2, service a 1, and atmosphere a 2. If you decide to go there, I would recommend the cornbread."
