"Stopped in to get a chicken livers dinner to go . Waited 10 mins for someone to bring me a menu to the front none on the counter . Dirty dishes on the front counter area . WHY ??Waited another 10 mins to get my order taken . Sat down and waited 35 mins , and waited . Watched young kids climbing over the front counter .. REALLY ? Finally guy says let me go check on your order . 10 mins later a lady comes out and saysI’m sorry , but the cook got something mixed up and didn’t know we were out of chicken livers and he did feeble excuses but I’ll be happy to let you have something on the menu , my treat . NOPE .You actually saved me money tonight AND in the future . I won’t be back .And to think I used to frequent this establishment for many years up until I moved away for a few years"

Ordered the wing box and had to share it. The wings are gumbo and very filling. If you like coleslaw they have the best. I always love visiting this place while visiting home.

I didn't expect to enjoy this place, but I do and we try to eat there whenever we can. The portions are generous and there is a wide variety of options to choose from. It is comfortable and has a cozy atmosphere.

Loved this spot. Food was old fashioned good, perfectly fried and smothered dishes. And the staff was very friendly, my kids kept dropping silverware on the floor, they kept bringing more. Oh, heavens yes, I always have to tip big when I bring them to lunch! View menu

I moved from Georgia to Ormond Beach, then to Palm Coast in July and my husband and I have been missing good, southern food! Although I'm an excellent cook, we like to eat out every once in a while. My husband ordered the Ultimate Fish and I have Fried Chicken Livers and it felt like home! The staff is upbeat and friendly (especially Cindy) and we will definitely be back! Thanks guys! ?

I want to be fair about my review. We went in after lunch. I'm almost sure they were sort of staff. My daughter loved her food. She had the chicken. I ordered liver and onions mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra.My liver was overcooked my mashed potatoes was french fries and my okra was macaroni and cheese. And my unsweet tea was sweet tea .I did not complain or send my food back. My waitress looked Dead tired . So next time. I'm going to get the chicken ?. View menu

Service was prompt, food was served hot and fresh,cooked to near perfection. I kept it simple and ordered a wing dinner with fries and coleslaw. All items were more than decent although there was some confusion regarding the size of wings,they have 2 or 3 to choose from. The food wasn't overly seasoned which wasn't a bad thing. Bathrooms needed some attention and dining area could have been swept a little better there wasn't a crowd during my visit. I will definitely eat here again.

I want to be honest in my evaluation. We arrived after lunch and the staff seemed friendly. My daughter enjoyed her meal very much. She had the burger. I ordered liver and swirled potatoes with gravy and fried okra. My liver was overcooked, the potatoes were too greasy, and the okra was actually macaroni and cheese. Even my iced tea was too sweet. Despite these issues, I didn't complain or send my food back. The waitress appeared tired. I might give this place another try in the future.
