"Nice ambiance having a waterfront view. Great service. Arrived late due to near by construction and road closure and was still seated. Waitress did a great job. However, the food and alcoholic drinks were not good at all. My date and I ordered the catfish poboy. We both agreed it was not tasty. I Did not like the chipotle sauce. Should have been the traditional tarter sauce. We both had 2 of their popular alcoholic beverages and agreed they were both not good. Both were room temperature and not properly shaken."

"This place is disgusting and I should know because I used to clean the kitchens. I bet that pipe full of worms still gets new rags shoved in it every night. Try and come for me, Allen, I was 17 working nights on your cleaning crew where you regularly paid me incorrectly, that nda was signed by a minor who was working for you illegally and you knew it so try to come for me. This place is a disgrace to true German heritage. The food is all frozen and canned. That sauerkraut? Canned. All of the brats? Frozen. The only fresh things here are potatoes and onions which btw are constantly crawling with roaches which we had to pray for every single night because he would rather pay us $8 an hour to clean the entire restaurant including the kitchen and catering as opposed to paying an actual wage and hiring an exterminator. Go here if you want food poisoning, I remember more than 5 times when I worked here that the sewer backed up into the entire restaurant and customers were told it was just dirty water lol yeah it was dirty, dirty with sewage. Disgusting and disgraceful, the entire hanselman family should be ashamed of themselves."

"We had ben sent to On the Rocks as we wanted a place close to a wedding venue, Horseshoe Bay Resort/Escondido. We didn't want to drive into Marble Falls. Beautiful view, beautiful sunset, gorgeous nature seating outdoors. Took forever to get a server, who was absolutely delightful. Perhaps, waiters had not shown up for work that night. We got a tad of flat, old Prosecco as clearly, they were out or hadn't chilled the Prosecco. We finally went to the bar and got a glass a wine. IF the service issue were better, I could have rated it higher. Albeit, the birthday dinner was fun. I think the service is the issue. The greeter made every kind amenity to seat us well; it was just crowded for the night and under staffed and served. However, I would go back and be prepared....."

"Visited this spot on a whim. Looked neat and smelled amazing. Was excited because the Packers played tonight and the bartender was decked out in Green Bay gear. Sat at the bar, said hello to the bartender and she didn 't even look up, and replied with a short disinterested Hey . Took a few minutes to get menus. The bartender served a gentleman next to us with his beverage, and proceeded with other tasks. We waited another minute or so and decided to take our business elsewhere. Only have the two stars because I do like pizza and would have loved to stay. She didn 't bother to say goodbye and I truly think she didn 't care to serve us. Disappointing."

"This place had amazingly good food and service! Our server was Ada and being bilingual she was great at explaining the menu and suggesting items to the whole table. We got the fried mozzarella and the chicken wings, they had a twist to them that I never had before and it was delicious! Then as for my pizza I had the Shrimp Scampi Pizza. "What an absolute let down of a Mexican restaurant. My wife and I have ordered takeout from this place at least five times now and I have gotten different things each time. I am not picky about food and will eat just about anything, but the food here is somehow amazingly bland. No matter what I get, it tastes like food product of the unflavored variety, or like a machine made this great looking food and ran out of flavoring. And on top of that, they can't even get the orders right, causing one of us to head back, which is a massive pain.We were super excited to get a Mexican takeout place in this area because we both love Mexican food, but fool me once, shame on you, fool me five times, well, that's on me for so desperately wanting to love this place, hoping the last time was just a fluke It's officially a pattern now.I will say the staff always seems friendly, even when busy, so one additional star for that. But I am sad to say, I cannot recommend this place and I am officially done with trying. It's always busy, so maybe I'm in a minority. Give it a shot, I suppose, but I'm done."

"So I used OpenTable to reserve for a group of 5 on Father's day. It seemed we were set for 11:45 am. We get there, they don't have our reservation. The waitress who was helping us says, I don't see your name here. I said that I put it on open table. She says oh, we have been so busy we never checked it. Instead of using a pad and paper maybe use a system that incorporates all reservations. The food was good. My family enjoyed it, but we were crammed in a booth with a chair on the end. I didn't really enjoy my Father's day lunch like I wanted too. Overall I do enjoy the place."

"we had a great meal here! the service was good and we sat and served quickly. for an appetizer we ordered the empanadas salteñas, which is not disappointed! the dough was perfectly cooked and the filling was the same parts simple and complicated. I almost wish they were a deer! the suppe had good taste and was a plentiful part. we ordered the bife patagonico that was one of the best steaks I ever had! I loved the portabello mushroom sauce and the al dente spay. (we shared this, as it was such a big one. next time churro!"

"Had the Sunday dinner which is a bit shorter a menu than the weekly dinner. My wife had shrimp scampi which was wonderful it was drenched in scampi lemon butter garlic sauce and was fabulous. I had the baked haddock which is the best I ever had it was served with mashed potatoes which were done quite well and broccolini which is like a thin line stocked broccoli. But dinners were priced quite low and we were the only diners in the restaurant strangely enough. The restaurant has an amazing view. I'm sure we will go again but we will try the regular menu which is done Thursday through Sunday I believe they have several unusual dishes such as fresh trout And grouper. I should add that her waitress was wonderful she was very attentive came by several times during the meal."

"Would not recommend. We made a reservation for 2, 5 hours before we wanted the reservation. So noon for 5 pm arrival. Under “special requirements”, we requested to not be seated in the middle of the room, but would prefer a table on the side, if possible, by a window or a more quiet location. When we arrived, there was absolutely no one in the restaurant seated at any of the dining room tables, only patrons at the bar. The hostess sat us virtually right next to the hostess stand in front of the door. I asked if we could have one of the other tables over on the side, she consulted with another employee and came back and said “no I’m sorry, you’d be surprised how quickly this place will fill up in an hour”. She then turned and walked away and never tried to see if we would be ok with this. Can’t comment on the food because we left after this rude behavior. Very poor customer service! We will not be back. If you have a completely empty dining room, at least try and satisfy those that are there first! They obviously don’t care..service was inexcusable!"

"5 on atmosphere. The old mill, beautiful building, nice lighting, had a nice girl with a very sweet voice doing some live music. Beyond that, I wish I would've gone elsewhere. I did a take out order, after taxes, tip, etc, it was $29 a blop of mashed potatoes, some luke warm rice, and 4 slices of cut grilled chicken. Flavor overall was not terrible, but absolutely not worth $30. Online order said it would be ready at 7:40 pm (I ordered at 7:10), gave them some room to breathe and didn't roll in until about 7:45...and still had to wait fifteen minutes for them to finish the order. Might try again and do a sit down experience tomorrow, solely for the atmosphere, we'll see how it goes."
