"Right when we walked in we were greeted by a kind lady who ended up being our server. The restaurant is pretty cozy and we were quickly sat and given menus. We started out with spring rolls for our appetizer. My girlfriend ordered the seafood pho and i ordered pho dac biet. Our food came out pretty quick and it tasted great. There is also a very generous amount of meat/protein served in their bowls, compared to other spots I've been to that serve mostly noodles and small amounts of meat. Definitely coming back with family"

"Unfortunately, our group of 10 arrived at this restaurant on New Year's Eve for our 7 pm confirmed reservation made thru OpenTable, and we were turned away since the restaurant was closed for a private party. We then had to scramble to find an alternate restaurant on New Year's Eve. We had 4 children and a grandmother with us. Fortunately, another area restaurant accommodated us so our evening was saved. We WILL NOT be returning to this restaurant. Both the restaurant and Open Table had my contact info but neither contacted me to indicate that our reservation could not be honored. Poor customer experience!"

"The atmosphere is very welcoming, the food is quite tasty, and the service is attentive and prompt. I was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant for its authentic cuisine and great location. Unfortunately, I have to lower my rating significantly due to a serious issue. During my two visits, I witnessed a mouse running through the dining area on both occasions, first spotted by a friend and then personally observed. Additionally, I noticed mouse droppings on the bar counter, which was quite alarming and unsettling. I addressed my concerns with a staff member, who apologized, cleaned the bar, and mentioned that they were working to resolve the problem. It was clear they were aware of the rodent situation, which is troubling considering the visibility of the mice. As much as I used to enjoy the food here, I haven’t returned since. While I understand that pest problems can happen anywhere, I’ve never encountered such issues while dining out before."

"Space is beautifully designed. Restaurant and bar are modern and quite sharp looking. Service was excellent. Manager was friendly and tried to be welcoming. That was the good. Now the not so good. Menu is quite frankly a bit weird. There are appetizers (the crab appetizer looks like tuna fish, tastes goopy and is awful), eggroll (tasted as if it was frozen and reheated. Entrees are in two categories: 1. A buffet where one selects proteins and vegetables to be cooked by a chef (sort of a Mongolian BBQ take) or 2. a shabu-shabu hot broth selection, where one chooses again either veggies or proteins to cook in a hot broth. The fresh bar/buffet was enjoyed by my co-diners, so no issue there. Unfortunately I chose the shabu-shabu with a vegetarian broth and mushrooms. The vegetarian broth actually looked like and tasted like dishwater. It was not fit for consumption. I simply ate the raw vegetables. There is a counter area with different types of sauces and seasonings, the idea being that patrons can make their own sauce for dipping the cooked shabu-shabu food. It’s entirely too much work with a less than stellar payoff; the concept of allowing diners to have “control” over their food and sauces seems admirable but here it simply is not executed that well."

"I have never tasted a soup as delicious as the Hue Vegan soup at this restaurant. I am a huge fan of Vietnamese soups and this place has the best. When I used to live in the area, I would visit every Sunday and the server already knew my order. I often find myself tempted to make the 4-hour drive back just for the soup. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot for a regular visit. While they do offer other vegan options, the soup is so incredible that I never want to try anything else."

"I've visited this restaurant several times, and I believe it has improved since it first opened a few years ago. My most recent visit was with my family, who were eager to try an upscale version of Chinese cuisine. The Peking Duck is available for lunch, while the Flaming Duck, which requires a reservation for a specific time slot, is served in the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the duck, especially with the incredibly thin pancakes. The ribs, squid, and asparagus were also excellent. However, the real disappointment was the lobster. Priced at over $80, it was a tiny creature that couldn’t have weighed more than a pound. I really can’t understand how they justify offering such a small dish at that price! I would definitely recommend avoiding that dish. Other than that, this restaurant is quite nice; lunch is peaceful and a good family-friendly option."

"The food was pretty good the rice was a little dry for my taste but still really good. The menu is nice it has pictures of the food on every page and makes it easier to decide what you want to eat. The service was great you order in the front and they bring out the food for you. They move everything out of the way when needed. The place is really chill and quiet. They have 2 stores and it's also a great place to hang out with friends and family. The menu is big and have a lot of options based on what you like. There is spice level to 4 if you love spicy foods."

"Very kind staff, they made me laugh lol it made my day. Good food, they’ll let you sample things and substitute for ingredients you dont like. They even make sure you don’t have any allergies as they put your food together. Prices are reasonable for a fresh food place, similar to prices at Moe’s. "The GREATEST bún bò Huế jawn in the city. No cap! I used to live in Philly for years and visited here so often. Now living in NYC, I would still drive all the way down here to get it from time to time because of how good and affordable the food is. The flavor is strong. The spice level pleases me (very hot). They are very generous with their meat chả lụa (that white cold cut). Food comes out MAD quick. Also get bánh ướt to share it as an appetizer portion as well."

"I had a wonderful dinner here with my dad! We enjoyed a variety of dishes, including the dumpling sampler, chicken lettuce wraps, Tokyo-style edamame, a bottle of Nigori Gekkeikan sake, and hot plum oolong tea. The dumpling sampler was enormous, easily enough for both of us to share as a full meal. The edamame was seasoned perfectly, and the chicken was cooked just right—smoky with a nice char yet incredibly juicy. Although my dad isn’t typically a fan of sake, he admitted that he really liked this one. The plum oolong tea was delightfully light and sweet, requiring no extra flavoring. Our waitress, Vanessa, was exceptional! She patiently answered all of our numerous questions and was genuinely friendly. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!"

"? Pho street has a couple of branches in PA, some in Philly, one in Villanova. I don't recommend going to this Philly one because the food is mediocre; there are better Vietnamese restaurants in the area so no need to go here. Also, we came when they just opened. I get it running a restaurant is busy and hard, but literally everyone was screaming at each other in an open-concept kitchen, and as a guest, I find it annoying. If they're going to yell, then don't do open-concept kitchen so it won't affect the customers lol."

"I strongly advise against ordering from this place. I tried the chicken pho, and it was just an overly diluted broth. When I called the restaurant, the employee tasted it and agreed that it was watery. She promised to call me back after discussing it with her manager, but I never received a call. When I followed up, I was told that my only option was to pick up some beef broth today or tomorrow. To make matters worse, they ran out of lime and substituted it with a lemon wedge for the pho. Their customer service is misleading, the food is unacceptable, and the solutions they offer are clearly not genuine. This particular Hanco's is by far the worst and deserves to lose its franchise. It was an embarrassingly poor experience."

"Unfortunately, my experience at the restaurant was quite disappointing. I ordered the Bua Noodle Soup and the Organic Kale Salad, but both dishes were excessively oily, which really ruined my appetite. The salad was composed of large, unchopped pieces of kale that were soaking in oil, and the tomatoes were spoiled. The soup broth also had an unpleasant smell and was excessively greasy. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Best of luck!"

"10/10 would eat at this restaurant again and again. I must say that I am a fan of acidic and spicy foods. I enjoy bold flavors. I prefer dishes with lots of shallots and garlic, to the point where I may not be able to kiss anyone for the rest of the evening. Our orders included delicious cocktails and strong but tasty fried chicken with a flavorful sauce. Unfortunately, the chicken seemed a bit old. I would recommend skipping this dish and instead trying the Bamboo Shoot Salad, which I would happily eat in large quantities. I have a fondness for bamboo shoots and enjoyed the funky and toasted rice in the salad. The Spicy Fried Rice was also quite enjoyable."
