"Your food is good, and the quantity and quality are great for the price. However, I had a frustrating experience due to a language barrier. I ordered a family meal, which I requested to include a large container of beans and a small container of stew chicken. Instead, they informed me that it didn’t qualify as a family meal and charged me for everything separately. I was willing to pay the difference, but the way they handled it made it impossible for me. When I got home, I noticed how they sliced the chicken and combined everything. I had to ask for clarification again, and they insisted that I didn’t receive the family meal, which is why they didn’t include the chicken. This whole mix-up occurred because I requested an extra large side of beans and stew chicken. Even though I had already paid $60, I ended up having to pay an additional $20 for the chicken because the staff kept insisting that I hadn’t ordered the family meal. I didn’t intend to pay for chicken I thought would be part of my family order, so I explained that I had already paid for just the chicken. It felt like I had to place the order first, pay for it, and then order separately for any additional items I wanted."

"As a avid fan of Cibao for many years I am extremely upset as to how the menu has changed. I have ordered over six varied items over the past 3 weeks and they ALL tasted the same! Beyond bland is basically the only thought I have to offer. I was a major fan of the grilled chicken over a house salad. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, with avocado on top. The dressing was delicious and flavorful. I ordered this 2 weeks ago. It had lettuce, tomato, red+ green peppers, No avocado. It had tons of kale or cilantro and the dressing tasted like it was watered down. Today I had the grilled chicken plate and there was lettuce and tomato in the dish, NO dressing nor flavor. I also ordered a chicken plate that was supposed to be a stir fried chicken with flavor. With the exception of heavy cilantro it tasted the exact same as mine. There seems to be NO seasoning in any of the dishes. The New owners SHOULD have sat down with the previous chef and staff listening exactly to their menu and NOT have gone and changed anything. I feel bad as I am sure many other repeat customers will feel the same way. Food: 1"

"My stomach is hurting! We walked in and sat in the back. The lady told us she'll be right back to take our order. Well 10 minutes later a new whole group of 4 sat down next to us and somehow got their drinks before us. We felt invisible and I think the easier heard me because he came to us right after serving them their drinks. Anyway we went ahead and ordered a bunch of food. The crab cakes and chicken croquettes were really good but that's where it ended food wise. My mojito was really good and I would have asked for a 2nd but nobody came to check on us. We waited and got tired of waiting so I got up asked for the check then had to get up and give her the check. It wasn't that busy so I don't understand the wait but I wont be going back. I'm feeling like I have to puke right now as I write this. So disappointed!"

"I'm so disappointed.. this was a place I've gone too and order fro for years i will bring my children who now are in their 20s but lately it has been a hit or miss and for the last few orders it has been a miss..smh. Today I oder 5 different orders and the food was tasteless n salty. The taste of beans was watery n salty no cilantro in the beans at all.. has the chef changed or there just catering the those who don't know what spanish food is suppose to taste like or cilantro haters like im confused whats going on the only spot in the neighborhood and its change ... its a shame ? I don't even want to complain. About how they usually would get the order wrong and forget the sodas at times but the food used to be great and you wasn't upset drink your water n you be alright but I'm so furious now .....Time to look for another Spanish spot."

"My family ordered food from here, but we will never come back. We ordered a whole chicken with white rice and beans, but the chicken was all torn apart and there were bones everywhere. "The atmosphere of Posh Sushi is very natural and peaceful, using earthy colors and soft lighting; Perfect for a date night. I was waited on by an employee named August, who was wonderful and gave very helpful suggestions on the menu. I ordered the poblano soup and the Nissi roll. The soup in itself was very creamy yet not overwhelming, a very great take on a traditional tortilla soup, the poblano pepper really added to the flavor and was tolerable in spice intensity. The Nissi Roll was incredible, the eel was fresh, the Serrano pepper that was used added a slow burn while the eel sauce gave it a sweet kick that really complemented each other. The aesthetics of the plate was amazing and showed the pride they take in their craft. I enjoyed my meal so much that I ordered a roll to go. Posh was a wonderful experience from the second I walked in the door, and the food really speaks for itself. Also, they have their own soy sauce that is absolutely incredible! Even if you're not a fan of sushi, you should give it a try, they offer something for everyone."

"It was a pleasant place to spend some time, but unfortunately, they had an issue with their advertising to attract customers to Golgas Place. They posted a special offer for margaritas on their Instagram story, claiming a 2-for-1 deal. I called to confirm the offer, and the waitress I spoke to also confirmed it. However, when I received my bill, I was charged the regular price instead of the discounted price. It was completely wrong and misleading for them to advertise something they couldn't follow through with just to attract customers to call. It was disappointing to have such an experience, especially when trying to enjoy Cinco de Mayo celebrations"

"The restaurant looks fantastic! I haven't tried my meal yet, but I'm confident it's going to be delicious. I just had to come here and leave a review for these wonderful people. As someone who doesn't speak Spanish, they made my experience feel very comfortable. This is such a contrast to the similar place down the block, El Palacio, where they lack respect for customers, especially if you don't speak the language. I've been in the area for a while and often passed by this spot, but it's truly the gem of the neighborhood. The staff is respectful, the prices are reasonable, and the food quality looks amazing—I just know it tastes great!"

"Received a menu from Family Chef Restaurant. I hesitated to order from Family Chef as I others have an understanding of how rude poorly run the average Bronx business is overall. I'm glad I made the right decision not to order from here in seeing all the negative reviews of Family Chef on Google Maps etc. I am sure I would be burning up with rage if I were mal treated like everyone else who made the mistake in trusting to give business to Family Chef like others. In my knowing how people are deceptive and manipulative in getting what he/she wants (only being selfish greedy for personal self gain) I question what was all the arrangements between Family Chef and the government of the City of New York representative to get a fraudulent sanitary inspection of Grade A to ever begin with. I will not order from here as I am concerned for my well being as a customer Family Chef does not deserve. I will keep away from this business other franchise locations of Family Chef. I give the victims potential victims of Family Chef 5 stars in their making the right choice to speak out against Family Chef. I would give Family Chef restaurants only half a star if I could but not so through Google this time. I'm tearing up my menu from Family Chef throwing it away. There. My disposal of Family Chef's menus says it all in my support of those who were done wrong by this restaurant chain."

"I went with my aunt to have breakfast and ordered the 3 golpes and wow it was delicious!!! The lady that works there named Rose (Rosa) treated us like if we knew each other for years!Very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return to eat lunch next time."
