"We dined here with a large party on a Friday night. The service was the most impressive- never an empty glass, plates cleared when finished, food orders were taken quickly and came out just as quick, special attention was paid to the one toddler in our group getting their meal in first. You can't beat good service!! But on top of good service was also good food! Our group had a variety of dishes- shrimp fra davalo, veal Parmesan, shrimp orgenata, linguine with clam sauce, chicken French and there was not an ounce of food left on any plates! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!"

"This is a very quaint neighborhood restaurant in Tarzana… You feel like you are eating in someone’s home. I was surprised to not see it not so busy on a Saturday night, but maybe that’s because there’s no outdoor dining? I had the spaghetti Pomodoro and it was delicious! Not too much sauce and very flavorful. We also shared a Caesar salad which was very fresh and not too heavily dressed… I highly recommend for some good Italian cuisine with fair prices.!!"

"First of all I just want to say that normally my family and I travel from across the monitor mirror mat just to visit Tuscany ristorante Italian. However, today was not a day I wish we would have visited the restaurant. When we arrive there was only one large party and one smaller party and they took us immediately. When we were set down we were given specials for today but each person had a different special and then when we decided on the items from the specials menu we were instructed that those items are no longer available even though they were on the menus that were given to us. As I stated prior my family and I often eat here and we used to absolutely love this place. We were advised that they have a new cook/owner and that things have changed but we didn't think it would be that much of a change. My mother order the chicken parmesan and ask for it to be baked and not fried and with no cheese we were assured it would be baked and not fried and then with no cheese. When my mother received her food everything was totally opposite it all was fried and it was all full of cheese. We asked if we could have it recooked and have it baked and with no cheese as we requested and we were advised that the cook was not going to cook it and that they would not offer any discount but we could order something else and pay that price as well I've never received such poor service in my life and my father who ordered Salmon was the very last person to get his food after we had all eaten and we're getting our dinners boxed up they told us that they would take it off of our check however won't I receive the check there was only $3 taken off for the late arrival of his food when the entire party was already finished eating. Our waitress had advised that she would try and have the chicken parmesan removed since my mother did not eat it but the check did not reflect as such. Today was one of the worst days under new ownership and we as much as we used to love this place will never return and the food wasn't that great today either."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem. Upon arrival for our reservation, we were warmly welcomed by a delightful hostess. We chose to sit at a high-top table in the bar area, which is perfect if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, but it might not be ideal for a romantic dinner. I recommend requesting a table instead. Our waiter, Kenny, was outstanding, and both the food and its presentation were exceptional. It's a very local spot, not at all touristy. We loved our experience and will definitely return!"

"My daughter and I had dinner here for the first time on Sunday after seeing a movie. I've already made reservations for my husband and I for Valentine's Day. It was a very cozy place, the services was very good and the food was as well. It was empty as it was Super Bowl Sunday so that made it even better. I'm not one for noisy restaurants. I'm hoping my husband likes it as much as I did."

"Tuscany is one of my daughter’s favorite restaurants. She wanted to go there for her birthday. The food was awesome and the service was great! Unfortunately, a humongous party arrived: men (fathers and their sons. Then about 15mins later, the women (mothers arrived with their daughters. The sound was deafening! I could hardly hear what my daughter was saying to me (we were a party of 4 and I was only sitting across from her. It’s too bad there isn’t a room closed off to host such a huge group (maybe 25 or 30? . It affected a table of 9/10 off to our left and they were farther away. It’s a shame really because we loved the food and the ambience at first."

"Last night was our first visit to Toscani and we loved it. Service was almost too good, staff was friendly. My husband had the veal francese and it was superb. I had the linguine with mussels and it was just a little bland, but still good. We had the escarole/bean soup, which was excellent. The meal came with warm bread and focaccia, also excellent. We will be back and we will tell all our friends. We hope this restaurant stays around for a long time."

"$17 for a salad with greens dressing carrots cucumber and tomatoes. We paid $10 for 2 slices of pizza with mushrooms, no flavor. We were cut off 2X while placing our order by other customers. There was a man literally that came up and cut us off from ordering. Then there was a women that did the same thing a minute later. There were at least 5 employees doing not much of anything but really needed to interrupt us. The young lady that was the cashier said after I ordered my salad that this place is expensive, kosher food is and she won't eat there because it is so expensive. This is one of the oddest experiences I have had in the restaurant industry. The pizza price was ok but was disappointing. The salad was a joke. $17. We eat out a lot and have always been curious about this place. If you want to have a meal that is unsatisfying and want to be treated like you are like a piece of c... for no reason this is 1000%. The place for you. Good luck. This happened on 5-27-23 at about 7:30 pm."

"I ordered a family night pizza with calamari and fries tonight, excited upon delivery I open the calamari and fries with utter disappointment. Extremely undercooked and fries soggy and greasy. I called back to get a replacement and they said no problem,the replacement took about an hour which at that point nobody was hungry. Not to mention the above pictures shown the calamariwas what I believe to be overcooked to the point of not being edible, fries still greasy and soggy. I feel the cook took mycomplaint personally and I'm afraid what else they might have done to the food now. I will not be ordering from here again. ????"

"This was my first visit, and it certainly won't be my last! The minestrone soup was excellent, and I ordered the chicken cacciatore, which wasn't on the menu, but the chef kindly made it for me anyway. It was the best I've had in 20 years! The only downside was that they only offered house salad dressing, which we all chose to skip. I also felt that paying $7 for a regular-sized cannoli was excessive. It was good, but I don't think any cannoli is worth that price."

"We didn?t have a reservation, we decided on coming here based of the glowing reviews. We walk in, and there were a couple people in front of us but the parking lot and main dining area was packed. When it was our turn to wait to be seated,they found us aprivate table in the back of the restaurant. My great aunt and I both got dreamsicle cocktails, and they were delicious. Thebread was not hot, but it was fresh and was so good so we didn?t mind that. We got the burrata appetizer, then our salads cameout. Light and also very delicious. They added freshly cracked black pepper on our salads and just elevated it even more. All myfamily (besides me) opted for the four cheese ravioli, and we all loved it. I got to try some of theirs and it was sodelicious. I got the braised short ribs and those were also to die for. We ended it with coffee and creme brûlée. All in allwas some of the best Italian I?ve had in a long time. Even though we were just passing through PA, but will definitely comeback. Absolutely incredible."

"We had lunch here after the baptism of our sons and could not be more satisfied with this restaurant. There were about 30 people and I can honestly say that every single person really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The staff is also so friendly and attentive. I can't say enough, but the food is amazing. Very recommended for big parties or just a casual dinner for 2. Thank you for making our sons a better day!"
