"We dined here with a large party on a Friday night. The service was the most impressive- never an empty glass, plates cleared when finished, food orders were taken quickly and came out just as quick, special attention was paid to the one toddler in our group getting their meal in first. You can't beat good service!! But on top of good service was also good food! Our group had a variety of dishes- shrimp fra davalo, veal Parmesan, shrimp orgenata, linguine with clam sauce, chicken French and there was not an ounce of food left on any plates! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!"

Frost is a classic seafood restaurant that truly deserves to remain a staple in the area. I've visited twice this past year, including a visit on Mother’s Day. Here are some thoughts... View menu

There is nothing negative about this location. Incredible meal, service, and ambiance. Had a party of eight, and everyone ordered something different and loved it. Here, Italians are happy!

The first bite is absolutely unforgettable. The chef is truly a genius. The service makes you feel like a valued regular. The menu is vast, and every dish is just as impressive as the specials. I challenge you to save room for dessert!

I’m a big fan of fresh mozzarella with tomatoes, but this dish included mushrooms, which I found off-putting since I don't like mushrooms. That really annoyed me. Overall, I personally wouldn’t return as I didn’t think the food was worth the price. However, my husband and mother-in-law want to go back, so it seems everyone has different tastes! View menu

Had one of the worst dining experiences of my life last night.Service gets a zero. We had a 7:30 res. We arrived promptly on time. We were told to wait outside for 25 minutes. We were sat at 8:30. We then didn’t get assigned a waiter until 9:15. When we finally got one we put drinks, apps and entrees all in because of what was happening.Drinks were disgusting only thing safe was a bottled beer or a unopened bottle of wine. The food was very lack luster and could have been had anywhere else in the city.Avoid at all cost.

Frost is a classic seafood restaurant that truly deserves to remain a staple. I've visited twice in the past year, including a trip for Mother's Day, and here are some highlights from my experience: the fish meunière, stuffed artichoke, and zuppa di mussels. I ordered the salmon meunière, and it's still on my mind—so flavorful, and they prepared it with the skin on, which I appreciate. The semolina bread was good, and the stuffed artichoke was excellent, though I have to admit Parkside edges it out a bit. Overall, they excel in seafood offerings and provide great value.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
