"I ordered the Club sandwich with ham and turkey, and it was absolutely delicious! The combination of meat, bread, and condiments was perfectly balanced. On the side, I had steak fries, which were tasty, though they could have been a bit crispier and needed a little more seasoning. The kids chose breakfast items: the youngest had silver dollar pancakes (one even came in the shape of Mickey Mouse!), while the oldest went for the Four Deuces. They shared the eggs and bacon; the pancakes were fluffy, and the eggs and bacon were quite good, although the eggs could have used a touch of salt. The service was prompt, everything was served hot and fresh, and overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful dinner, Kettle Diner!"

"Sunset is my favorite pizzeria on Staten Island, and genuinely my favorite pizzeria that I've ever been to. Their pizzas are always hot, fresh, and delicious. Their garlic knots are perfectly doughy, cooked, and covered in garlic in the best way. I rave about their Italian Wedding soup to anyone who will listen to me. My family has been going here since before I was born and I have been eating their pizza since I could first chew. I am a NY pizza snob who thinks extremely highly of this place. I know there are a lot of supposedly amazing pizza places on the Island but I have tried them all and Sunset is my favorite every single time. Their crust is so fluffy and cooked perfectly and their sauce is delicious. Everyone who works there is exceedingly kind and makes it a pleasure to go in and order. Hot Tip: Their sausage pizza is out of this world. Definitely stop by if you live near here or honestly, make the trip to get some pizza you won't regret it!"

"We've been customers for 20 years since we moved to the area. They are a large family and have always consistently provided great food and service. We have inaugurated, ordered to go and delivered meals. You also looked after our parties and family dinners, and I can never remember ever having problems. We have been pulled out of the state since then and go for a few meals when we visit back. We recently had my son's graduation party when we came home last weekend. "This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"We had a party of 5 reservation at 700 on a Monday night. Dining room has only 6 tables and a few at the bar. More then 1/2 the tables were already dining. We gave our drink order and the server messed up. Asked for unsweetened tea received sweetened. Not a biggie but he blamed it on them mislabeling the tea at the station... took 50 minutes to get the spinach artichoke appetizer then main dish cake within 5 minutes of that . Bread took 30 minutes to come to table... The kitchen was not busy! Wanted to let the manager know what was going on but he was not available so makes no sense to complain to server Food was good but service had a lot to be desired ."

"The service was outstanding, but the food left much to be desired. I ordered the veal, and it turned out to be rubbery and overcooked. Apart from the Caesar salad, which was delightful, the rest of the dishes we tried were just mediocre. Based on what I've read in other reviews, it appears that they often overcook their meat, and unfortunately, that was our experience as well. The Caesar salad was definitely a highlight, but ultimately, I didn't go there just for that."

"I had heard about Zorba's Taverna from a good friend , hadn't tried it till 3 weeks ago, I was disappointed they didn't have music on Friday night, server said it was for reasons of covid not too many people gather , I can definitely understand that. Waiter was super friendly and hospitable, food was amazing , I had the artichoke appetizer , yummmmm and my date the beef kabobs which he ate the last morsel . "I took my son for his 21st birthday. Ambiance was great. Loved the music being played. Food was good but not excellent. I had better Greek food in other places, but it was ok. If the food had been better, the the prices would have been appropriate, but I paid too much for average food. Now my main complain was the server. He never smiled. Now, have in mind we got there early so it wasn’t late at night or anything. I would have understood that maybe he was tired, but no, it was just 4:30 pm. He was miserable. I mean, he didn’t even try to hide it. We didn’t get ONE single smile out of courtesy. He walked slow and just unhappy all around. At one point t I asked for refills and he filled ONE cup only and went to sit on the corner with some friends. He didn’t come back to check on us so we had to ask someone else to help us. This person (that I believe to be a manager because he was dressed differently) after providing service to us, went to the corner and spoke to our server and then the server came back with the most miserable face possible. We left a tip only because we are not mean spirited people but he deserved nothing. We will not see the need to go back or recommend to other people. Thank you."

"Stopped by on a Saturday for a late lunch early dinner to use up a $25 coupon from restaurant .com. Comfortable place located in Midtown East area. Overall, food was pretty good. We ordered a large whole wheat margarita pie, clams mussels special, and a lobster ravioli special. Whole wheat margarita pie was the highlight; loved their tomato sauce. Both the clam mussels special and the lobster ravioli special were both heavy on the sauce, so that kind of covered up the actual seafood flavor. Not bad dishes, but would have preferred to taste the seafood flavor instead of sauce. No big deal though. I also got a strawberry smoothie, which was pretty good. Fresh strawberries and it wasn't too sweet. Woohoo! "I’ve been dealing with this place for so many years with no issues. This last order the focaccia comes with mold on it and it’s clearly moldy bread. I called back and I’m told no I make it fresh to order that’s impossible. As you can see clearly mold on the bread. After a few minutes of conversation why even a conversation) they agree to send me another one. When the driver arrives he was very nasty and confrontational saying I stood there and watched him make it, it’s always fresh. It’s from the oven???? I said look it’s clearly mold that’s all. He then comes at me with, take the new one out of the tin and show me the difference. I told him to to leave and now we don’t trust the food that was delivered. For the driver to know there may have been an issue with food and to have stood over the chef making it. I just can’t eat it. I never post bad reviews for food due to I understand that Things happen. However this was my excusable."

"It had been awhile since we had dined at Gianni’s and my spouse and I decided to celebrate our anniversary dinner there. We started with cocktails and Sicilian Calamari that was fresh and flavorful. I had a great wedge salad and my wife had a house salad with creamy garlic dressing. Our entrees consisted of the cod special my wife ordered that was topped with crab and served with asparagus. I put together a “make your own pasta” with delicious cavatelli, artichoke hearts, crumbled sausage in a Arrabbiata sauce. We ended with desserts of cannoli’s and pistachio gelato. Our server was Angie and she was attentive, sweet and efficient, even though it was a very busy evening. The quality of food was on point and the service was excellent. We won’t wait as long between visits."
