"Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start! Before we even got to Second Happy Door, the host greeted us with menus, and they were very polite. Once we sat down, we were served refreshing water with ice and napkins—such attentive service! Our waiter came by shortly after to take our orders, and the coffee arrived quickly. We ordered the French Toast Deluxe, which came with eggs and cheese, as well as cheddar cheese and extra pancakes. Honestly, this was the best French toast I've ever had! It was perfectly warm and cooked just right in the middle. The flavor was outstanding; the cook truly nailed it. The presentation was also impressive!"

"I ordered the Club sandwich with ham and turkey, and it was absolutely delicious! The combination of meat, bread, and condiments was perfectly balanced. On the side, I had steak fries, which were tasty, though they could have been a bit crispier and needed a little more seasoning. The kids chose breakfast items: the youngest had silver dollar pancakes (one even came in the shape of Mickey Mouse!), while the oldest went for the Four Deuces. They shared the eggs and bacon; the pancakes were fluffy, and the eggs and bacon were quite good, although the eggs could have used a touch of salt. The service was prompt, everything was served hot and fresh, and overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful dinner, Kettle Diner!"

"For me, at like 10pm on a Monday night, this is a late-night go to! After doing the Edge 1,271 ft City Climb and then drinking at some bar for a while, I came here quite hungry. "This restaurant is truly unacceptable and deserves to be closed down by health authorities. I witnessed the cook drop a steak on the floor and then place it directly onto the grill. The staff seemed quite incompetent, and the delivery driver was tall, thin, and oddly dressed, giving off a strong odor of alcohol as he walked by our table. It was a complete disaster. Without a doubt, this is the most disturbing dining experience I've ever had. The staff was not only unprofessional, but the food was also horrible."

"Forbearance! Platz is hands down the worst pizza place I've ever experienced. The pizza was undercooked and just plain awful. I ordered delivery tonight, and the pizza looked like it had been tossed around in the box, with the cheese sticking to the top. I even pointed this out to the delivery person, but there's a reason I chose delivery in the first place. I've never seen anyone complain openly about undercooked pizza there in all these years. To make matters worse, the wings were overly salty. I wouldn’t have felt the need to write this review if I hadn’t been treated so poorly. I just had to share my experience."

On top of that, they charge a $2.00 delivery fee for this so-called service. It’s not just about delivery, either. Recently, my wife called in for two subs and some potato skins half an hour before picking them up, only to wait an additional 25 minutes once she arrived. The food itself is typical pizza house fare—it's hit or miss. You can never count on having a great meal there; it's just enough to keep you from going hungry. The only reason we continue to order from this place is because the other options in the area aren’t much better."

The straw that broke my back was when I ordered my go2 chicken cutlet calzone, I ordered it as usual, was eating it as I felt a hair in my mouth, I went to pull it PRAYING it was just mozzarella cheese, but no, a long blondish hair came out still attached to the chess and chicken I was chewing, THE HAIR WAS BAKED INTO THE CALZONE! It didn’t just fall on-top, it was in there!?? I also have short brown hair, Like VERY SHORT. When I called flipping out and asking WHY THE COOK DOESNT WEAR A HAIR NET, they put me on hold for 3-5 minutes then the owner picked up and said “Sorry sir, but we take all the necessary health code precautions here” that’s when I said “ LISTEN UP, I have a 8 inch long medium BLONDE hair in my hand right now, SO IF YOU HAVE A PERSON MAKING CALZONES WITH THE SAME HAIR, YOU BETTER APOLOGIZE AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR ILL HIRE THE BEST LAWYER ALIVE, Give him this hair to run a DNA TEST ON AND IF THIS PERSON EVER WORKED FOR YOU, I WILL OWN YOUR RESTAURANT! To which he pauses, then apologized and asked if I wanted a new calzone or money back? I said I want my money back and they can come get the calzone, minus the hair.They did not come but I got a refund a month later when I filed the complaint with my card.Had this man just apologized at first, I’d have been ok with it, Not order ever again but I can understand an employee not doing what they’re supposed to. But trying to turn it around on me when I told him the hair color and length, that I got me very upset! Especially with their price increase and charging for every little thing, EVEN MUSTARD ON MY PASTRAMI ONCE!! SMH. DONT BUY FROM THIS LONDIS, Idk about the rest!"

"My wife, daughter and I were visiting colleges, and next up was Caldwell University. We had some time to stop for lunch and tried the diner. Free parking was available in the back. We were greeted by several employees as we came in and were seated. Service was prompt, and drink refills came without asking. Food was excellent. My burger was a nice size and my side order of seasoned curly fries was bigger than expected. I ended up taking them home for a snack. My wife and daughter also enjoyed their food. Would gladly return. Maybe my kid ends up at Caldwell and this becomes one of her local hangouts "

"I have nothing but positive things to say about Carlos Pizza. The food is absolutely delicious, and I can't recall a single dish I've tried there that I didn't like. In addition to the standard pizza and cheesesteaks, their pasta dishes are AMAZING—they taste incredibly fresh and are even better than what you'd find at a restaurant like Olive Garden. The portions are generous, too; when we order from Carlos, we always have enough for at least two meals, if not more (and I have a big appetite! lol). The prices are fantastic, and they’ve never gotten an order wrong, even when we make special requests like no tomatoes or adding bacon. Lastly, the staff is wonderful—always polite and friendly. "Ordered a large steak and cheese and a large seafood salad, fries and mozzarella sticks. The steak and cheese tastes like taco meat from the seasoning they use.The seafood salad was loaded with mayo too much). The fries were soggy and have that goss coating on them typical frozen every day fries . The mozzarella sticks are as everyone else's and the marinara was watery and plain. When called I spoke to a woman she handed the phone off to another gentleman in wich i explained to the guy my issues and then proceeded to hang up the phone. I was not rude to them in any way !! So needless to say , I will never buy food from.this establishment again and you shouldn't either esp when it's the same as most places , but there is no love in their food . Be aware of this Establishment and the horrible customer service.. don't waste your money or expect if your disasstisfied they will compensate for this garbage food."
