"This restaurant is my top choice. I prefer it over all other restaurants I have been to. I always make sure to visit whenever I can. When I want a nice meal, this is the first place I think of. They have the best variety of food and a wide selection of dishes. The staff is courteous and the ambiance is great. The prices are also reasonable. I happily recommend this spot to my friends."

"My daughter started dance in this shopping center, so we figured we would give this place a try. So glad we did! We were pretty turned off to all other Chinese food in the area, so our expectations were low. This place turned out to be AMAZING! Delicious, tender white meat chicken with broccoli, excellent boneless ribs, fried rice and steamed dumplings. We loved everything! Will definitely be returning as this is our new go-to for Chinese food. Thanks for the great experience!"

"I really enjoy a variety of dishes from a typical Chinese menu. Since most items come with white rice, I always order from this restaurant because they serve my favorite white rice. They also offer jalapeño chicken and Mongolian beef, which I haven't found at other restaurants. After trying several places in Teaneck, this has definitely become my go-to spot."

"Food was a B . What disappoints me is I paid with cash $10.95 bill, paid with a $20) and was shorted $5.00 of my $9.05 change. Shame on me for not checking what was handed back to me until I got home, and not sure if this was intentional, but buyer beware. "I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. The food here is quite good, especially since they don't use MSG like many other restaurants. Prices are fair and reasonable, even cheaper than many places in the neighborhood, despite inflation and the pandemic. The service when placing my order was excellent. They provide a generous portion of food—definitely more than a half portion, in my experience. The delivery was prompt and the food arrived hot. I've been here a few times, and I will definitely return."

"Delicious, freshly made meals with a great selection of Chinese dishes! If they say they have it, they really do! The seafood soup is absolutely fantastic! Just a heads-up: prices have increased."

"ANNEX does not use delivery services like Grubhub or Uber, which means you won’t have to pay any extra delivery fees. The atmosphere is nostalgic and reminiscent of training films from the past. The shrimp and lobster sauce is just right – it’s packed with ice and ground pork, with no peas or carrots in sight, making it a rare find among local takeout spots. The egg rolls are generously filled and deliciously meaty. The fried rice is moist and has a hearty portion of pork as well. The fried dumplings are flavorful, and the dipping sauce isn’t overly vinegary. This is truly a fantastic example of traditional Long Island Chinese food, just like I remember from the 80s. I can’t wait to try more dishes!"

"I have ordered takeout here 4 times now and the food is excellent. I typically wait 5-10 minutes for my order and the staff are quite friendly. They make a solid pork fried rice and the pork steamed dumplings are really really good. It’s my go to after work dinner spot Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"This restaurant was very close to my hotel where I was staying in New York, and thus I had taken parcels from this place couple of times. The restaurant is kind of no-nonsense, with a very cheap price tags. At $6 one can get four pieces of crispy fried chickens with good amount of fried rice. Service time is really quick, even during the peak time too. Food is very average, to say the truth. If you like spicy food, you may find this place suitable to your needs.<br/ <br/ Overall, a nice budget place for some quick bites."

"I visited this restaurant because my usual spot is closed on Tuesdays. I usually dine in downtown Flushing, so I have high expectations, but this experience was disappointing by any measure. The mapo tofu was inedible since they used leftover spare rib tips for the pork, making the dish overly sweet, and they doused it with an excessive amount of pepper flakes to mask the flavor. The rest of the food, including simple lo mein and chicken with broccoli, was drenched in a thick soy-garlic sauce that was reminiscent of motor oil. The steamed pork dumplings were filled with something that didn’t even seem related to pork—definitely some kind of manufactured meat product. I would recommend avoiding this place unless you're really desperate for a meal."
"I absolutely loved the lunch from this place! I went to Chinatown to get some shrimp lo mein, but it was either too expensive or I felt like I was being treated poorly, so I left. With only half an hour for lunch, I walked into this restaurant and found exactly what I was craving. The food was hot, delicious, and only around $4, allowing me to return to work on time. I really love this spot! <3"

"Was passing by Berkeley heights and googled Chinese food and got this restaurant.. called them up , placed order and it was ready in 10 mins . Parking is a bit smaller there and tough to get it next to the restaurant…General tsos tofu was very good . We ordered a regular size lunch and it was sumptuous .. can easily fill up 2 people . Lots of rice and curry . Kung Pao chicken was ultimate … very nicely made and spicy too. ?️ ?️?️. Went well with white rice . I thought it was a little bit expensive though. Costed about 40$ for both . If not for the price , it’s just a superbbbb place for Chinese food . There are tables inside to sit and eat… good experience overall…"

"I'm currently staying in a hotel from out of town and ordered from this restaurant the following: 2 liter of soda Wonton Soup Lemon Chicken.Instead of a 2 liter I received 3 cans of Coke and was informed they were out of 2 liters. Doing the quick and dirty math a 2 liter is ~67.6 fl oz. A Can of soda is 12 oz. 67/12 5.58. So I should have received a minimum of 5 cans for cost, technically 5.5. So 5 cans or 6.I also received no flatware with which to eat my meal. No chopsticks, no fork, no spoon, nothing.Luckily I was able to go to the lobby and get some disposable flatware, but that meant coming all the way up to my room, unpacking the food, realizing I had nothing to eat it with, and having to go back down to the lobby. Not a huge deal in itself, but when coupled with the soda issue (especially since the soda is already overpriced, but again stuck in a hotel and figured I'd eat the cost to have it delivered rather than making a trip out to the store)."
