"The food was absolutely fantastic. We ordered a variety of dishes, including a fried lobster tail, oysters, a wonderfully flavored strawberry salad, lobster mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, some delicious Wagyu beef, and perfectly seasoned carrots. One member of our group had the lamb, which was praised as perfect. I was also treated to their soufflé, which was incredibly tender and flavorful.
I have to give a special mention to the scrumptious bread! Our server was very helpful with flavor recommendations and was both friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re in the Des Moines area and looking for an excellent steakhouse, 801 Chophouse is definitely the place to be."
