"I have visited this restaurant several times and have always been disappointed. This time, I questioned why I was even there. It is one of the few Bagel shops in the area, and as a bagel lover, I want to love this place. However, the bagels always seem stale, dry, and excessively hard. Even though I know how to revive a bagel in this condition, I shouldn't have to do so if I'm purchasing it on the same day. When I tried to cut them at home, no one could even get a knife through them. A bagel should not be mushy, but it should be somewhat easy to bite into. Also, I found that the sizes of the bagels were inconsistent. One spinach bagel was the size of my fist, while the next one was barely bigger than a slider. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and asked for a smear of deli mustard to hopefully add some flavor and moistness, but the staff member looked at me as if I had two heads. My sandwich was dry and bland, which leads me back to my original question – why do I keep coming back here? I shouldn't have to doctor up the bagels or sandwiches to make them enjoyable; they should be good on their own. The restaurant has a nice variety, friendly staff, and fair prices, but the overall product just isn't up to par for me."
