"I probably had the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant at this one. I am not one to get up and leave or write reviews, but after this experience I felt I had to. We were seated and it took someone 15 minutes to come and take our drink orders. We were seated close to the bar so a server regularly walked past us and no one stopped to ask us what we wanted. It took my boyfriend to get up and go to the washroom (ie cause there was some movement from our table) before someone came by and asked for our drink order. When the server came by, I asked for a beer that was on the menu. She became rude and confused as to why I was asking for this particular beer. And proceeded to pretty much make me feel stupid for asking for a beer that was on their menu. She then asked me if I wanted her to go over the beer menu with me. I told her I would wait for my boyfriend as we had decided on this particular beer. However, at this point I was so disappointed in the service, I wanted to leave. Therefore, we got up to leave and then the server came over and asked if everything was alright and if it was something she had done. I did not want to cause an issue as I do not normally complain or leave restaurants, so I just told her I wanted to leave. She continued to bombard us trying to get us to stay until we just walked out. We then proceeded to another restaurant where they asked us for our drink orders within 3 mins of sitting down. And we had amazing service and changed our night around luckily."

"Today my grandmother and I decided to head down to Huntington Beach, so I made a reservation at Duke's. I've been to multiple locations of Duke's which i truly like, but this one seems and feels like a tourist trap. We started off with the Crispy Coconut Shrimp which were good and all, but I wouldn't say the portion was correct for $19. For entrees, we ordered the Sashimi, Caesar Salad, and the Fish and Chips. My grandmother said the fish and chips were so-so because the amount of fish lacked as most of it was breading. She said the fries and coleslaw are the only things that saved the dish. I started off with the sashimi which for $22, was a generous portion. The quality of the fish wasn't the highest and had a little bit of a fishy taste. Overall, I wouldn't order this again. The Caesar Salad had a really good taste with the crunchiness of the broken up croutons. The dressing was citrusy which I like. The portion for $13 was a little small, but I have to understand this is a lunch-sized salad. Overall, The other locations I've been to are more beautiful and you don't feel like your at a restaurant at Disneyland. The service was attentive with refilling the drinks and making sure the items are good. I am willing to try it again for dinner as I am a huge fan of their Macadamia Fish, but I will not be returning for the brunch. I give this experience a 7/10."

"I dined here twice. First time for dinner 2 stars. Second time for Sunday brunch 4 stars. So I will give them 3 stars overall for the mix of my experiences.I had the same server both times and she was great. I had questions about the Sunday brunch and she answered them. At dinner, we were a little shocked by the fact that their menu had way less items than the menu posted online. We still tried them and ordered a few items such as their wings, pizza, and burger. The wings and burger were good. No quarrel there. The pizza is a pick 2 toppings of your choice. We chose just 1 ham. It was not good. A frozen pizza made in your home oven tasted 10x better. Presentation was also not there. When the check came, we told our server that we were told we would receive a discount next door. She asked for a card and we said we were never given one. She said she would ask her manager. Her manager came over. Not a people person and was not customer oriented at all. She told me we needed the card. I said that's understandable but we don't have one. We were never given one so I can show proof that we are staying next door. She then said she wasn't at liberty to give out discounts. Shocking isn't it? As a manager. The server then came over and said she can apply the discount. Overall a sour experience thanks to the manager. We then returned the next day for Sunday brunch. They only operate from 12 2 which is a very small window. We were told by our waitress that it was stone crab claws but she was mistaken. They were just crab claws. They were already broken out so that was nice but they were very tiny. There also wasn't any melted butter at the buffet but the server was able to bring us a cup. We really enjoyed the variety of the Sunday brunch. A few key items they had were croissants, bagels, smoked salmon, cocktail shrimp, eel, crab claws, an omelette station, bacon, french toast, fruit cups, and a carving station of ham. Everything was nicely presented. They also had a small variety of desserts but a good amount displayed. As of August 6, 2023, the price of an adult is $52 and that comes with coffee, juice, and one glass of alcohol. The price of a child ages 5 12 is $25. They automatically include the tip of 20%."
