"Well worth the walk!. We went to Le Grainne for breakfast during a recent trip to New York, and it was the loveliest dining experience! Originally we were worried about having to wait a while, as the restaurant was quite busy, but that was not the case. Staff were quick and attentive, we had about 3 different people looking after our table, topping up waters, bringing drinks, food, and taking our order. It's not a huge place, but as far as small cafe standards go, there is quite a lot of seating available. It has that cozy cafe vibe, tables are close together, music is soft and in the background, decorations and chalkboard wine lists ooze that French cafe feel. <br/ <br/ There were many great choices on the menu, I had an Omelette, and my friend had the French toast. My omelette was amazing, it was light and fluffy and cheesy and had the perfect ratio of egg-to-vegetable per bite. It came with homefries and a salad, and it was a refreshing change to have with my omelette. My friend loved her french toast, it was a very sizable portion, she loved the cinnamon and maple syrup and enjoyed the pairing of fruit salad, homefries and ham. <br/ <br/ We also partook of some delicious Iced Lattes, which offered us the perfect blend of caffeine and cool heat-wave quenching relief. They are served traditionally, milk and ice topped with espresso so that it slowly starts to sink in and blend. Looks beautiful and, working in a Cafe as a Barista myself, it's my favourite way of having an iced latte! <br/ <br/ We really enjoyed our experience at Le Grainne, would have loved to have made a second trip during our visit, but it just wasn't possible on our five day timeline. I highly recommend you check out Le Grainne!"
