"I'm a huge sushi enthusiast, and it's my go-to comfort food. I had a wonderful experience at Mitoushi, thanks to the fantastic service and the amazing atmosphere. My server, Edy, was very attentive and welcoming. The drinks added a lovely touch to my lunch, and the green tea tempura rounded off a delightful meal. I absolutely love this place and plan to return often. It has become my new favorite sushi spot!"

"Service is amazing and their food is great! I heard about this place through a friend and decided to give it a go since I needed a katsu fix and it’s hard finding a place in Brooklyn that makes good katsu. To my surprise it was actually pretty good. There was a decent amount of meat (not too thin like other restaurants) and layer of breading. Although I found it to be quite dry alone, they provide sauce for you to dip in. The sauce tasted like ketchup? I’m not a huge fan of the sauce and I would prefer if they offered other options with their katsu like curry but it satisfied me till my next trip ??"

"Went last March and the sushi was amazing. Was excited to go back last night to celebrate my birthday with friends. We had ordered drinks and were looking at the menu and chatting when my friend noticed something on the inside of her glass just above the Coke. Upon closer inspection it was indeed a roach, we didn't notice it when the drinks were dropped off which means it probably crawled up. We decided we were going to leave and called the waiter over and told him, he was extremely apologetic and told us he would his manager to come over. Before he walked away, he did say that sometimes they come from the ice and that's how it made it into the drink probably. That. Does. Not. Make. Me. Feel. Better. A few minutes later he came back over and told us that the drinks were on the house and that the manager was too busy to come over but he's very sorry. So we left. To the manager if there is a ROACH in your customers food, you un busy whatever situation you are in and address that immediately. Absolutely disgusting customer service. You should not have your waiter who does not get paid enough probably deal with that situation. And looking at your reviews, this isn't the first occurrence, and management doesn't care in those reviews as well."

"Delivery Sushi Nirvana has been Attained!. Mori has somehow managed to combine two concepts near and dear to my heart DELIVERY and SUSHI. Mmmmmmmmmm......<br/ <br/ My beau is not a huge fan of sushi, so I don't eat it nearly as much as I'd like to (say, once a day.... . Because of this, we don't tend to seek out sushi when we do eat out, so I'm not well versed on the Seattle sushi scene. <br/ <br/ However, a few months back while the beau was out of town, I had a huge hankering for some raw fish and seaweed. I headed for my laptop hoping against hope that I could find a decent sushi place in the neighborhood because while I was indeed craving sushi, I was also feeling unbelievable lazy. Go get food? Huh. No, I think I'll have popcorn for dinner instead. <br/ <br/ I was hitting all the usual on line spots, searching for sushi with good reviews, and BAM! I found sushi (check in the neighborhood (check and...what's this? They deliver! Oh miracle of miracles, I think I just heard the angels singing! I burned up the phone lines calling Mori and placing my order. <br/ <br/ My delivery order arrived within a half hour and the delivery person was courteous and friendly. After closing the door and temporarily setting down my to go boxes in order to do an impromptu happy dance, I tucked in to wonderful, fresh, and flavorful sushi. I have since ordered delivery sushi from Mori several times and it's always been a great experience. <br/ <br/ The only thing I would suggest to make the experience absolutely sublime: Mori should look into on line ordering. Oooh, the thought just makes me swoon."

"KUMO GOT ME THROUGH BAR EXAM PREP! I had kumo multiple times a week while at home studying for the bar exam for two months straight and every time I was so happy because the food is delicious. I even decided that lunch special chicken terriakyi was what I’d have for the first day of the Bar Exam, so my dad picked it up and brought it to the hotel I was taking it in in Uniondale during my lunch break. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! Their lunch special are reasonable priced and they give a great amount! I’ve also been eating here since I went to VSN north and will keep continuing to do so! Thank you Kumo!"

"I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this restaurant, but it's a solid option for the local area. It's a good generic sushi spot, although there are better options about 10 blocks away (WOKUNI) at a higher price point. I typically order the 3 roll combo instead of the bentos, and while the miso soup is nothing special, the sushi is usually fresh and tasty. The prices have increased slightly since I started going there for lunch, but that's to be expected."

"THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER! I went there because my six year old wanted to go for sushi and we had been before. It's always been mediocre and I gave in and went. I made the mistake of getting the all you can eat for $33.95. I ordered a roll, some sushi and a handroll. They sat us right near the sushi bar and the person helping to make the sushi would not stop glaring at me my entire meal! Always checking out what I was eating was I sharing? It was so unenjoyable. I could not just enjoy eating and being with my family for my daughter's birthday. The sushi was terrible. All rice and barely anything in the middle of the rolls or on top of the sushi. It had no flavor at all. Then to top it off, the server came over to me and warned me that I must finish all my rice on my plate or I would be charged. At that point, I let her know just how awful the food was and on top of that, I could not enjoy even sitting there with them eyeing me and surrounding me, monitoring every bite and my every move with their precious all you can eat rice. Please save your money. There are plenty of other sushi restaurants on 72nd street that are quality and great service/pleasant dining experience."

"the chef was a little demanding telling us we were not aloud to switch seats and move around to talk to each other and he also told us that we had to tell him in advance if we wanted dipping sauce because if we weren’t going to eat it he wasn’t going to give it/ it was very strange! He made it very uncomfortable. He also spoke a little nasty We eat there all the time and never experienced anything like this. But the food was amazing."

"I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The service was top-notch, and they even served complimentary hot green tea. The sushi was exceptional, and the fried ice cream was a delightful surprise. I've visited several times, and most recently, I chose it for my best friend's birthday celebration. Other nearby restaurants had long waits, so I recommended this place. We were seated right away, and I was impressed by how clean the restaurant was, with everyone wearing masks. The food was delicious, and the cocktails were not only affordable but also strong and packed with flavor. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience!"

"This is a go-to spot for my husband and I when we don't feel like cooking but don't want to order takeout. This is a higher-end Japanese restaurant (not just Sushi) with an extensive menu!! We love the hibachi options. It can tend to get a little crowded here (you may want a reservation on Thurs/Fri/Sat nights), but service is always great. We will definitely be coming back here!"

"Beware of bugs in the food! I’ve been ordering from Kumo 1—2 times per week for about a year. Tonight I ordered a bunch of rolls. While eating, I spotted something crawling in my sushi rice. I looked closer and came to find some sort of fly that looked liked a spider with wings on it. I was so grossed out, I called the restaurant to let them know. When I informed the lady there’s a bug in my food she goes you want to bring it back and get a new one? Why would I want a new one after I found that? … – show"

"Great service! Their restaurant is always friendly and clean. The staff is helpful. I got the Veggie Tempura roll, and it was delicious. The location is excellent, but too bad they need parking, so you have to park on the street. It is hard to find parking in that area around lunchtime.Food: 5/5"

"I forgot to take the photos of the curry chicken katsu and special combo that has unagi don and hot soba. They were good, but not great. I thought the curry was the curry you can buy at the Asian grocery store, SB brand. The chicken katsu was normal, fried with the tempura batter. The unagi over the rice was usual, just an eel with a sweet sauce smothered under. The soba was probably the best because the soup base was not too salty, like in most other places. I could actually taste the flavor of the stock. The dining room was clean. But the servers were talking loudly in Japanese, which I thought was a bit odd in a Japanese restaurant. They normally whisper when customers are eating. The restaurant is located on the third floor. There is no validated parking. This place is just average for me."

"In this mostly residential neighborhood, takeout/delivery joints are a dime a dozen and destination restaurants are few and far between. Somehow, despite there being many, many places to order your standard sushi roll lunch and dinner specials, most of them fall short. The fish may be rubbery and of subpar quality and the rice overly sweet or overcooked. Ginza gets it right. The prices are standard, the food is fresh, and they've always gotten my order right, which is more than I can say at nearby sushi restaurants. You'll find all the classics here, but I especially love the eel roll, yellowtail jalapeno, and salmon avocado. I'll order for pick up or delivery as there's no space to sit inside, but this place is so much better than the other spots in Murray Hill that I'll walk an extra few blocks to get the better sushi here."
