"The food was great! However, service was horrible. They forgot our drink orders and 3 different people returned to the table 4 different times to take the same order. Then they confused our drink order with another table. When we finally got our drinks, after about 30 minutes at the end of our meal, they blamed the bar for the delay. However, the bar was nowhere near busy and the bartender at one point was just standing doing nothing as we waited. The drinks were good, not worth the wait. When we ordered to dessert we had to ask for cutlery twice. They dropped the dessert off and 10 minutes after it had been obvious they had no intentions of giving us cutlery. When we asked the first time, a person (who wasn’t our server) came back 5 minutes later and stated “Oh I forgot”. Then offered us a round of shots which never came. We weren’t upset about the shots not coming because at this point we wanted to leave. When we left, we paid in cash and headed out. The server chased us down the block, yelling, “HEY”. When we finally realized someone was speaking to us we stopped and turned around, she asked us if we paid. We said that we had and left it all in cash on the table. She stated “Oh you left it at the table. Okay.” It’s obvious she did not even check the table decided to that chasing us down the block like we had dined and dashed was more appropriate. Overall, we are never going back to that restaurant."

"I didn't take any photos, but can say our family had a great dinner here. We were up in Fort Wayne to watch our daughter's graduation and this Restaurant was close to where we were staying. Never being here before, we decided to take our chances. I am glad we did! Our server was excellent, the portions were enough for two people, the food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. We will probably not visit Fort Wayne again, but if we do, this will be on our lists of places to eat."

"I dont know what I expected regarding the food, but I expected a little more. I know people really like this place but it's really just ok. The service is outstanding. I can't debate that at all. But the food was merely ok. Well this is for me anyway. We had roja and Verde salsa, and white queso. My wife loved her queso, but the salsas were not great I've had better. The roja salsa was decent with a very slight kick. The Verde had an odd taste to me that I couldn't take. It seemed to be to much lime or cilantro in it. We did have entrees. I had the 3 fajita steak tacos with a side of rice. The tacos were really good. They seasoned everything in those tacos. The rice was heavy on the lime and cilantro as well. I had to add hot sauce to eat it. My wife really liked her taco salad. The ingredients were fresh and the lime vinegarette was good as well. The only issue was the shell that held the salad was very greasy as if they didn't let it drain enough. The service was great. Like I always so check it out and let me know what you think."

"We chose this restaurant based on the reviews so we were slightly disappointed. We had the queso fundido for an appetizer. It was good, but very small for the price. The main meal was fine, but not great. And the atmosphere was more like club than a restaurant, very loud! The presentation of the food was beautiful but the taste didn’t live up to the look. We had tres leches cake for dessert and it was very disappointing, very dry! Overall, it was fine but not something we will visit again"

"I’ve gone late at night to sit at the bar with a girlfriend and have a drink at the end of a long week. I’ve gone at dinner time with family to enjoy a really delicious and filling meal when we didn’t feel like cooking. The prices are reasonable at $15 a burrito and $3 for chips and delicious salsa. The dips are fantastic and filling. If you don’t believe me try the queso dip, and the black bean dip. The nachos are an outstanding option here, and seemingly irresistible: it’s impossible for people not to reach over and enjoy it with you. Try it with the Carnitas, if you are not a vegetarian. If you don’t, normally, I would highly recommend you try having a burrito wet. Ask for both green and red sauce is. The fish burrito is excellent and comes with a white cheese sauce akin to the queso. And when, in doubt order the scratch margarita. But if you can handle some heat, the jalapeño margaritas, my favorite. Great outdoor area for eating if you’re concerned about being indoors. Heating and comfortable."

"Delicious authentic Mexican cusine, with lots of options to cater for all. We had the Cheese enchiladas served with Beans and Rice and Tacos al Carbon which are Three tacos (I recommend you have the flour tacos) served with pico de gallo, rice charros which is absolutely tasty and mouthwatering. The chicken was seasoned so well and to be honest I could of just had that with the complimentary salsa. We travel about 40 minutes from where we live because it's worth it and it's my Mrs favourite Mexican place to go and eat. The server Lucy (I think) was absolutely amazing and welcoming. Before we even ordered we were given complimentary warm tortilla chips and a homemade salsa. The salsa was soo good and a perfect combination to put in with my tacos. It definitely deserves a 5*"

"Absolutely Authentic! This is not your usual Americanized Mexican cuisine. The chili sauces here are intricate, well-balanced, and truly representative of the heart of Mexico. Keep in mind that most of the sauces contain chocolate and indigenous spices, which may take some getting used to for certain palates. Personally, I found it to be delicious. The service was just as exceptional as the food!"

"We had to ask for our drinks over and over again at our table until a different server brought 2 out of the 3 drinks ordered. Got charged for the wrong drinks as well as the amount of drinks ordered, and was pretty much neglected by wait staff all night. Only got 1 appetizer and a drink and was there for over an hour. "I ordered a $30 mocajete to share with my partner, thinking it would be large enough for both of us. While the mocajete was indeed big, it was mostly filled with ingredients that were tasty but not worth the price. It contained only two shrimp, a piece of chicken, a slice of steak, and some carnitas on top. The flavor was really good, but I was disappointed because when you order a mocajete, you expect a lot of shrimp and a generous amount of meat, neither of which justified the $30 price tag."

"I was hospitalized for 6 months this year. When I was able to eat solid foods again I wanted Mexican food. My daughter brought me some carne asada tacos with green sauce on the side. The first bite was so good that I knew I would never eat a taco from anywhere else in town again! The salsa verde is the best I've ever had! Bean and cheese burrito is also delicious! Service is always on point with very friendly help. I do wish I could inside and eat but I don't think my wheelchair fits through the door. My only complaint. Thanks javi's taco shack for making this patient happy every Tuesday while I was hospitalized!"

"La Hacienda is overall the best Mexican restaurant in PTC. The food is great and the margaritas are fantastic. Just like any restaurant “post COVID” it seems that La Hacienda may be short staffed at times which does create slow service. There has been a help wanted sign on the door for a while so I don’t fault the ownership for this. In fact I’ve seen them running from tables to the kitchen etc trying to work with what they can. I highly recommend this place and it’s worth the wait."

"This restaurant is fantastic! The atmosphere both inside and outside is very inviting. Inside, the decor is beautiful, and they have games to keep the kids entertained. We chose to sit outside because the weather was lovely, and the outdoor decor is just as impressive as the interior. The menu is accessible via a barcode, which you scan to order and pay. The tacos are absolutely delicious, but be prepared for a bit of spice – the food can be quite flavorful! You can customize your order if you'd like something milder, but if you enjoy a kick, this is the perfect spot for you. I especially loved the ceviche; it was incredibly fresh, and the chili-calamari taco was my favorite, alongside the pork belly topped with pickled red onions. This place is ideal for Taco Tuesdays, or honestly, any day of the week! They also have rice bowls and options on the kids' menu, so if you're looking for something other than tacos, you’re in luck.
