"We chose Pane e Vino Providence for the recent Mother's Day occasion at the very last minute, mostly because we heard how great their Gluten free menu was. Due to it being Mother's Day graduation season, we knew it would be hard to book a standard table, and it was. Called in the day of and spoke to Austin who was amazing let us sit at the bar instead of outside. THANK YOU AUSTIN!!! Our bartenders for the night were Brian Sam. We were pleased with the food, service overall vibe of the restaurant. Food drinks were DEELISH!!!! Restaurant was a little tight, crowded noisy...but we managed to enjoy nonetheless. Will def be back in the future we happily recommend :"

"We went to Monte’s for dinner after a stressful day of travel. We could not have been more pleased. Jovan, our waiter, was knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly helpful. Everything we had was delicious. We particularly loved the seafood appetizer. We asked for spoons to finish every drop of the delicious broth! One of my sisters was delayed in travel and Jovan packed food to go with plates and silverware for them. Highly recommend both the food and the service."

"This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. We've been twice and both times they have been great with dietary restrictions as well. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!) but also a great place to take visiting friends and relatives or for a special night out or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We'll keep going back for sure."

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case."

"This was the second time to visit La Stella around ticketed events in the arts district but definitely not the last. We had Alan A as our server both times and he was wonderful. Knowledgeable yet relatable, low pressure yet attentive. There is obvious and appreciated priority placed on taking your time and not rushing your dining experience. The live entertainment from pianist (different both times) was a great touch. On this visit even the owner came out to welcome us and ask about our food and experience. Is it a cheap place to eat? No. However i have spent more and received much less in food quality and service than the high bar set here. It’s a great value if you consider location, quality and service. The grilled octopus for appetizer and bread pudding for dessert are my pro tips!!"

"Citicorp 1845 had good reviews which is why I chose it.. went there with friends on 12/27 for dinner with friends. I felt fortunate to have called for reservations since there were a lot of people out and about in little Italy who were turned away. The hostess had put 3 table together and was very friendly. We sat at the table and had to wave at another waiter to find out who was assigned table, it was Manuel… he came up as the other guy was taking our drink order. After that, we didn’t see him unless we looked around and caught his eye. As for the food, the meatballs were dry and unimpressive. The wine which was a Montepulciano, was so good, we had 2 bottles. I ordered another entree since we didn’t have enough food and it never came. I had to get up, walk around, find Manuel and let him know to cancel it if it was ever going to come out, and to bring my check… it was VERY ANNOYING.. yes, the place was busy, but when it emptied out, he always still invisible. I couldn’t see a Manager. There was nothing…. This place has earned a place on my sh!t list for crappy service."

"First of all the lighting is extremely dim making reading the menu nearly impossible. Second, the noise level was very high. Sounded more like a bar than fine dinning atmosphere. Finally, the waitress told us she was new and in training. She did not have the waitress training her with her. It was very obvious the mew waitress was very nervous and unsure of herself, like she had received little to no training and was not ready to be on her own. She did take our drink order, but after 15 min she returned to take our for order even though we had still not received our drinks. She went to check on or drink order. We could see her fumbling with order slips with the bartender. It seemed as though our order was never turned in and certainly never followed up on. She returned saying our drinks would be ready in a few min. All this being said, this was not a good experience. We ended up canceling our drinks and found somewhere else to dine."

"We've literally tried to go here three times, and have missed their open hours every time... admittedly our fault for lack of planning, lol. Finally! Got there at 3:30 on Mother's day and chose to wait for them to open at 4. Patio is first come first serve, btw. We ordered a couple of great glasses of wine, the grilled artichoke hearts and a margarita pizza. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly! Pizza crust was delicious, crisp and done in the middle (one of mysticking points on pizza). Service was top notch. Everyone there, from the hostess, to the bartender and waiter were very attentive knew what they were doing. Also, have to mention the atmosphere. Inside, so cozy and cute! The patio is theshowstopper. Tables on the stone patio are protected from the road by beautiful landscaping and the tables under the large tree in front are amazing. I'm including a pic...look for the lights hanging from the tree... I'm sure it's magicalat night. Great experience! We will definitely go back!"

"Food was excellent, service was phenomenal (shout out to Eric, our Waiter). We ordered steaks and our sides options was either broccolini or green beans. My wife can't eat Broccolini due to allergy, so when when we found out they ran out of green beans, my wife was disappointed, However, it was not a big deal. Soon after, Eric comes back and tells us that the kitchen went out to the store across the street and bought green beans for us to serve with our plate. They really went above and beyond to give us a good meals and amazing service. Literally the definition of excellence service. Will definitely be coming back! Cheers."

"This restaurant makes me feel like I'm back home in NYC back in the day when Italian food was Italian and not American Italian. Need I say more. Oh, and the bread is brought in from NY and is like Mamma used to make. One note of interest. We have a home in Portugal and eat octopus (polvo) regularly when in Portugal. Here, we have yet to find anyone who knows how to cook it like the Portuguese...until now. Tender, not rubbery and tough, grilled to perfection and the veal chop was stunning. Normally I would keep this secret to myself but please come, enjoy so they stay open. Ask for Vito or Juan and tell them Billy sent you (the guy who loves Ciopino). I won't get a kickback but the pleasure of them knowing how much we enjoy their food and service."

"The place is small but WORTH IT. Authentic Italian cuisine and the pasta are made fresh. From veal ravioli to prosciutto pizza, I've had it all, and no dish disappoints. Don't forget about the desert! Panna cotta is my go-to. Although not on the menu, they can also make you affogato if you're looking for a simple classic Italian dessert. Lastly, the owner is awesome, as well as the server that handles large parties. He's super impressive because he doesn't have to write your order down. It comes to you accurate, and he knows Italian. Foretti's is 5 stars all around!"

"I so wanted this restaurant to be good, because we live quite close, but was sorely disappointed. I am sorry, but the food served there is not Italian food, which I think of as good fresh products simply prepared, and unfortunately when I asked for additional description of the dishes, they were misrepresented. The grilled monkfish was fried in batter with sticky sauce on top, and the chocolate ricotta cake was neither ricotta (a defrosted mess) nor chocolate (a pool of corn syrup based sauce on the plate). Only the mixed salad had fresh ingredients in nice simple dressing."

"Never disappoints! If I could eat here every day, I absolutely would. We're huge fans of the mussels, calamari, and pasta—they're all incredibly delicious! I often order the eggplant parmesan, which never fails to impress. The staff is fantastic, the atmosphere is wonderful, and you can really tell that the food is made with love, regardless of how busy they are. I’m always amazed at how great my dish is, even during peak times when the restaurant is packed. The only downside is that it does get very busy for good reason, so if you tend to complain, I wouldn’t recommend coming on a Friday or Saturday night, as you’ll likely have to wait for a table. Oh, and the drinks and happy hour are awesome too. Simply perfect!"

"Little Italian place, we've visited a few times in the past food is always good and friendly service! This time though service was very poor we had to ask for everything multiple times and even to someone else rather than our waiter! Was really upset on the 20% mandatory tip for party of 6 this should be earned by giving great service not just be a given without it ! One of the worst services from the waiter, rest of staff was awesome picking up the slack! He should have gotten a 5-10% tip max!!!!! Do better, customers shouldn't be paying for waiters salary, tip is an extra when good service is provided!!!!"

"Such an outstanding dining experience during our latest visit. From the minute we walked in the door, we knew we were in for another great visit. The hostess acknowledged our special occasion (anniversary) and we were seated promptly in a booth based on my request. Our server (Mary) greeted us promptly and also congratulated us on our anniversary. Mary was simply delightful and an amazing server. We started with a burrata salad (a special that night). It was delicious. My wife and I both had pasta (butternut squash ravioli and bucatini). Each were rich, decadent and totally hit the mark. Mary brought us each a glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary which was so thoughtful and kind. We finished with the chocolate pudding and an Apple crostata. Such a sweet finish to an amazing meal. Would totally recommend Valenza to anyone looking for a delicious, relatively moderately priced meal with outstanding service!!"

"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food."

"Roberto was exactly the place where I and my friend thought when we wanted a nice date that allowed us to forget our outer life. This upscale intimate Italian restaurant went nothing but over my expectations. The new property has improved only on the plates and the chicken Carbonara is really amazing. This pasta court alone gives me reason to come back. However, their cocktails do not sell short either and my friends chicken parm looked fantastic. I praise Richie and Neely for what they have done to turn this place around. I'll be back."
