"Meh. Full disclosure, we were there on “Girls Night Out” in Somerville. Unplanned. The bar was busy but the restaurant was not. Our waiter did not know the menu which was not great as he told me a dish I was ordering was not spicy, and it was very spicy. Inedible for me. When asked “why didn’t you tell me so I could have switch it out?” I didn’t have the heart to tell him it was because he never came to check on us. In fairness, he took it off the bill which I appreciated. And yes we tipped on the full amount. Steak was grisly and not seasoned. Steak fries were bland. Hopefully this was just an off night. Many other choices in that hood."

"I really enjoy coming to this place when I am in the mood for some Filipino food, as it is close to my place. every time I'm here, they get fast service and the portions are serious. I never go without a order of lumps and pancites. it is favorable, there are many parking places, and the workers are happy to give them recommendations when they are indecision (and the recommendations are solid.)"

We chose this restaurant despite its difficult parking situation, only to find it permanently closed upon our arrival. Why weren't we informed by OpenTable? This is unacceptable, and we are extremely upset! I expected them to safeguard our reservations. Please get back to me."

"Good and friendly service. I had pancit bihon guisado which tasted good but was heavy on the noodles and short on the other ingredients. For the amount of noodles there needed to be more of the meats and whatever else goes in that dish.I also had a halo halo and it was great. I dined in and they served the halo halo in a clear plastic cup with a long plastic spoon. They told me they didn’t have any glass to serve it in and I had to ask twice for a metal spoon. I don’t like having to ask twice. I explained to them that the plastic spoon is uncomfortably sharp feeling in my mouth. A metal spoon has smoother and less sharp edges.I don’t really have a reason to visit this restaurant again."

"I enjoyed fast service at the restaurant, and the pork adobo I ordered was absolutely delicious! On a scorching day with temperatures over 90 degrees, the restaurant maintained a nice, cool atmosphere. During my visit, I noticed that many of the patrons were Filipino, which speaks highly of the authenticity of the food offered here. My only minor issue was that the lunch portion was quite large, but considering it was under $8.00, I didn't feel the need to mention it to the staff. After being in NYC for three days, I can confidently say this is the best meal I've had since my arrival!"

"This resaurant is definitely a good introduction to Filipino food. The pork adobo and halo-halo were more mild in flavor. The pork sisig was different with the red, yellow and green bellpeppers and the meaty-meats (not the porky bits one is used to wheneating homestyle/ authentic versions. The garlic fried rice was garlicky good. The classic lumpia could have had a little morestuffing. The star dish was the lechon kawali. It was crispy and not at all dried out. It was a perfect cook. Overall, thedishes were enjoyable, just more tapered to American palate. That being said, we 'd still like to come back and try the othermenu items."
