"I was so excited to try their restaurant and have a nice meal, but it was incredibly disappointing. The mussels and clams, although fresh, were in a bland watery broth. So mediocre! You can get awesome mussels in Coupeville and I would expect the Captain Whidbey to be on par (or better! than that. The scallops were delicious but I did not realize that the word risotto was in quotes...it tasted like trail mix, honestly. The gnocchi was also just fine and not what we expected. I hope they improve the restaurant because I 'd love to come back for the amazing atmosphere!"

"The crab cakes and oysters on the half shell were juicy and perfectly portioned. The special pappardelle with Manila clams in garlic wine sauce was simply divine—luscious and delicate. The lamb chops accompanied by grilled polenta, roasted peas, tomatoes, and a summer vegetable salsa verde were delightful (though slightly overcooked). We started the evening with a champagne toast and ended with a panna cotta topped with honey pears and fresh redcurrants. It was an unforgettable meal that truly made our anniversary special. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant for helping us celebrate our 14th anniversary! Bravo!"

"I finally discovered a local Argentine restaurant/metzgerei. I loved the cozy atmosphere, it really reminded me of Buenos Aires! The curassco was amazing. I will definitely return for the parilla with my family. I would not recommend the truffle pasta, but that was my mistake for ordering pasta at an Argentine restaurant."

"The service at this restaurant was above average. The food was well-prepared and fresh. My wife and I each had a Mai Tai and another mixed drink which were both strong and delicious. The drinks were well-mixed and not watered down with ice. It felt like we were getting a good deal during happy hour. Our children joined us for the meal, but my wife was not pleased with the grilled cheese sandwich our daughter ordered as the bread was too hard. Despite this, we enjoyed a delicious Kona Pie to finish off our meal. Overall, it was a good experience."

"first line was our server great. the young lady was called chayla and she has made an excellent task to take care of us. she was friendly, polite and very attentive. Hope her manager sees this and realizes that they have fantastic employees, and by realizes that I mean, give her a bonus or raise, not only verbal lob. eating was delicious and filling. service was excellent, bar far some of the best I have seen from recent memory. the prices were reasonable. the location was clean. much park nothing to grab, enjoyed my meal here and would like to eat here again."

"I reserved a couple of weeks in advance as we were guest at the Hotel. When we arrived for our reservation, we were told they weren’t seating anymore guests as they were at capacity and had a wedding party. I told the staff I had reserved a couple of weeks ago and were guests at the hotel, they ignored me. I asked to speak to a manager as there was obvious seating and waited 30 minutes. When no one arrived, I was finally told we could go out to seating. The next day they were closed even though I had a reservation for that day as well. I’d still recommend because when we were finally allowed outside it was beautiful."
