"Update:I feel like the business is unfairly blaming me. I placed the order not in the week they mentioned, but the week before that. I made two separate calls on different days; the first was to reschedule the pickup for Thursday, and the second was to inquire if I could pick it up earlier on Friday, which the staff confirmed was okay. However, on Friday, the assistant manager contacted me, upset that I hadn't picked it up on Thursday as initially planned. I told her that I had received permission from the staff to collect it on Friday instead. She argued that the staff member had made a mistake by allowing this change.I didn't call back on Friday, but the assistant manager reached out to me again, expressing frustration that the order hadn't been picked up yet and insisting I do so immediately. She basically threatened to discard the cake and complained about the lack of space in the refrigeration due to my order. The birthday party was on March 1st. I had no reason to move it.Dear Management,I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from the assistant manager at your store on March 1st, concerning an $85 cake order. My experience was not only disappointing but also left me feeling disrespected as a customer. On February 27th and 29th, I called your store to inquire about picking up a cake on Friday, which was valued at $85. The staff member I spoke with confirmed that this would be possible, and based on this assurance, I made my plans accordingly. However, to my surprise, I received a call from the assistant manager around noon on March 1st, informing me that the staff had erred in allowing me to pick up the cake on Friday. She insisted that I needed to pick it up within an hour.I explained that I was unable to come at such short notice but assured her that I would pick up the cake before the store closed, as initially promised. Instead of understanding the situation or apologizing for the inconvenience caused by her staff's miscommunication, the assistant manager proceeded to express concern that I would not pay for the $85 order. Her tone was not only unwarranted but also extremely rude throughout our conversation. The behavior of the assistant manager was unprofessional and not reflective of the customer service standards I have come to expect from you. A situation that could have been resolved with understanding and proper communication was instead handled in a manner that was both unwelcoming and offensive.I hope that this incident will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately. It is crucial for all staff, especially those in managerial positions, to represent with professionalism and courtesy towards customers. This experience has unfortunately impacted my view of your store, and I am hesitant to return or recommend your services to others without knowing that measures have been taken to improve customer service and staff training.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and a resolution to this issue."

"I LOVE bbq and my boyfriend and I wanted to try a new spot. We ordered this through Doordash for lunch and portions were good but food was eh. I got the pulled pork combo plate and boyfriend got brisket fries. My plate came with pulled pork and 2 sides and corn bread, I got mac and cheese and fries as sides. I ate the corn bread and it was ok, I think boxed kind taste better. The fries were also ok, they were krinkle cut and they gave a good amount. Mac and cheese was really creamy but no real flavor, it didn't have much taste to it. I love pulled pork and get it at almost every bbq spot I go to. This one made me loose my appetite after a few bites. It had a weird smell. I grew up around many dairy farms and for some reason the smell of this pulled pork made me feel like I was at the farm with the smell of the cows. I tried to keep eating thinking it was me but I let my boyfriend smell and he said the same thing. Best thing on this plate was the pickes!! Boyfriend's plate he said was OK, it was the same krinkle cut fries, loaded with cheese, sour cream on the side and the meat. Most places I've had the meat chopped up and spread over the fries, not sure how most people get their brisket but they gave full slices of brisket just laid on top of the fries and drizzled with the cheese. Other places have given it chopped or brisket tips. Definitely would not be going back to this bbq spot."

"H H Family Bay what does that even mean? RIP Hungry Harry’s. It certainly wasn’t the greatest BBQ restaurant. Famous for its hit or miss food quality and service so laughably bad management had to print shirts for their staff to wear saying; be nice to our servers or eat at home. I’ll never be eating here again, that’s for sure. New ownership and staff are somehow less competent than before with an unnecessarily revamped menu including Vietnamese style egg spring rolls and pho (at a barbecue restaurant, seriously), and all kinds of overpriced, elaborate, and unappetizing sounding sandwiches, burgers, salads, and nachos, nothing close to barbecue. All you can eat chicken and ribs have been my go-to for the 5 plus years I’ve been eating here, which they’ve now done away with. I ordered the st. louis ribs, fries, mac cheese, and a corn muffin which was more expensive than the old all you can eat deal. The ribs were mostly fat and so tough my jaw got tired of chewing, and so dry not even bbq sauce could give them flavor, which our waitress had to check if they even had bbq sauce since they were phasing out the menu. My fries were overcooked like they sat in the fryer too long, then sat out all evening and got thrown in the microwave, the mac cheese was a dry, spongy abomination I didn’t dare to touch, and I received a piece of stale, rock hard garlic toast instead of my corn muffin. I didn’t even bother complaining, there seemed like there wasn’t an adult manager on site considering the entire staff were teenage girls that spent the majority of the time I was at the restaurant up at the front counter gossiping and complaining about other shifts. I barely ate any of my food and asked for my check and waited long enough watching my sever chat at the counter that I had to walk up to the counter to get my check, and ask some random girls that were friends of the waitresses to move so I could pay my check. Change isn’t a bad thing, but this is ridiculous. Thanks for the disgusting, unfinished meal and the abysmal service. I hope the new owners fail and never financially recover from this. They deserve it."
