"After waiting 45 minutes, we had to ask for a second drink and an additional bowl of chips. Over an hour passed with still no food in sight. The highlight of our visit was when a kind gentleman brought my two young children cake from his mother’s 80th birthday, noticing that we hadn’t received our meals yet. Finally, after 1.5 hours, we got most of our food—but mine was still missing, and what we did receive was ice cold. Typically, this restaurant serves food hot enough to require caution, and it was surprising to receive such cold dishes.
At that point, we requested to speak to a manager (still without my entree), but she was dismissive and did not offer an apology. She mentioned they could remake my meal, but with a wait time of 1.5 hours for cold food, I declined. It was very disappointing to have such a negative experience at a place I have always loved and recommended to others. I hope this was just an off day, but the manager’s lack of concern for our situation was troubling. In the end, I still never received my meal. It’s frustrating when raising a common issue—like receiving food that’s either late or not warm—is treated as an inconvenience for the staff."
