"Came here in June to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Serving staff all masked, and diners space adequately apart. We shared the cold mezze platter (tuba meze tabagi) with fresh bread (comes with olive oil, feta and a flavored butter) which is a wonderful way to sample all the cold appetizers- perhaps too much for just two. We accompanied our meal with a bottle of sauvignon blanc from Turkey. My partner then had Sarma Beyti kebab, and I had the lamb kebab. Both were delicious. We were unfortunately too full for dessert. Highly recommended"

"Tuba Mediterranean is no longer in business. It has been replaced by a new bar and grill, which still offers an extensive vegetarian menu. However, this change made it difficult for me to enjoy my meal. The new menu is quite limited, focusing primarily on bar and grill dishes. Overall, I feel I cannot fairly evaluate this new establishment based on my experience."

"This Turkish restaurant serves some of the best food I have ever had. The eggplant and tomato sauce appetizer with bread was superb, the lentil soup was superb, and the mixed grill was perfection. The kinafa dessert and tea were amazing. The service was excellent and friendly, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Prices were reasonable for the generous portions. I can't wait to visit again next time I'm in San Francisco."

"tuben express the sister restaurant tuba in the mission is a small restaurant with the same authentic Turkish food. the young woman who served me both paintings recommended wonderful Turkish wein, and several items on the menu. I was there in groups and as two it is absolutely refreshing to speak / listen to all at the table. the between plate, falafel filled with feta, and their signature dessert are my favs (I am vegetarian, so I can not speak with the meat eater part of the menu)."

"One of my favorite places!! I love the turkish tea!!! Order off the appetizers specials you can make a meall off it.. they are so yummy! Also props to the owner, one of my first times here I asked him if he knew where I could get turkish tea glasses and he actually sold me 2 of his... that was so nice. Also a few times I've had a turkish craving and popped in and grabed togo...and the staff is awesome!!!"
