"A true neighborhood gem. It was the perfect place for a Sunday dinner with out-of-town guests. We had an excellent dinner. The kebabs, lamb chops, and Tuba salad were all delicious. We also shared the special dessert with shredded filo and sweet cheese. It was unusual and we will return to baklava next time. The service was attentive and friendly but not intrusive. We tried the Turkish mineral water--delightful! We will be back."

This is a cozy place and was just perfect for our early evening dinner. The food, service and ambiance were all first rate. We had the mixed grill for two. Rarely have I had a mixed plate where EVERYitem was so tasty and wonderfully prepared. We will be going back again soon. That says it all doesn't it?

I have said before, and will say again, “this will be a treasured jewel.” The food is fresher than fresh, you get a ton of it, the best lamb chops ever, yes foodies, better than the iconic Kokkari. Turk Salad is a presentation of beauty, I could go on and on. Go in and try a little of everything, as everything is terrific!

Tuba Express will soon be a treasured neighborhood jewel. The food is so fresh, generous portions and the staff is warm and welcoming. The cold mezze platter is great. The grilled lamb chops, FOUR to an order, with beautiful rice salad all on one platter, for 24.00!! Any entree can be shared. Cannot brag enough about Tuba, visited them 4 times in May and each time wonderful. View menu

We had an early dinner and were seated in the back. As we started out as the only diners, it was very quiet for a while. The food looked and tasted great. We had shrimp, lamb kebab, bean salad appetizer, cheese roll appetizer, an unusual baked cheese with syrup dessert, and wines. The service was friendly and attentive. Tuba is a good general-purpose restaurant offering interesting food are a reasonable price.

We were pleasantly delighted with Tuba Express. The falafel and hummus were the best I’ve had in a long time and everything else we had was delicious, too. What I liked the best was how comfortable I felt at the restaurant. It’s family run and you can sense the care that everyone gives to the food and service. I also love that they’re open through the afternoon. Tuba Express is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood.
