"Very unique restaurant! I came for a birthday and it was a pretty chill vibe on a Tuesday evening. It’s not too busy. The food is delicious. We ordered sushi, scallion, pancakes, fried oysters and the seaweed salad. all the food arrives really quickly andall were so yummy. "The service was friendly and attentive. Portions big and sushi rolls were great! There was confusion between servers on who was serving our table, so there was a minor delay on taking our order. They brought us a yummy appetizer as an apology and we thought that was above and beyond what they needed to do. My friend spilled her soup and they helped clean up and brought another soup for her. Will definitely come back!"

"I would like to give it 3.5 stars, but for the overall value my rating feels fit. the spicy thunfish, spicy salmon, and sweet potato tempura rolls (small special, $16) and the pork gyoza 8.) the sushi itself was tasty enough, especially the spicy salmon. but the spicy thunfish really lacked and the sweet potato roll lacked the iconic sweet drift found in other sushi joints (it left the roll rather dry). I would have liked to see a chili oil in the bag next to her. overall, for $20 they can probably have a better sushi experience in gramercy/ flatiron/ midtown. for a quick lunch it is not and at all. but I'm probably not going back to maguro."

"OK...guilty as charged with loving this Japanese sushi restaurant. It's our go to at least twice a month. The food is what you would expect, delicious, tasty and fresh. Only 4 stars for the service only because of the consistent turnover in the wait staff. Highly recommend and the prices are in line with the selection of food. Great sake selection too! Only downfall to the cocktails are that they're gone in 3-4 sips...too much ice and too small of glass."

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"My friend and I and our children decided to stop in for dinner. Not many patrons inside, and after our experience, I understand why. Most everyone at our table ordered sushi that was mediocre and had to ask for bowls for soy sauce. I ordered the filet mignon hibachi. It came with a lukewarm miso soup that was not palatable and salad drenched in dressing. The meat was not filet mignon; it's my fave cut of meat so I know for a fact that wasn't what I received. The meat was tough and drenched in some sort of brown sauce I've never seen in hibachi dishes. The vegetables likely only saw the grill for 30 seconds; they were barely cooked at all. I also watched an employee use her bare hands to add salad to bowls and served to patrons. The lettuce was not cold like you'd expect it to be; it was slightly colder than room temperature. We will definitely not return to this establishment."

"We will never order from here again. We did a to go order for our anniversary and for the price we expected the exact same amount of food you get in person. As you see from the photo that is not the case. (Add 2 pieces of shrimp and 2 pieces of steak I ate those) my steak taste like beer was dumped on them, the rice has no flavor at all. No seasoning on the vegetable. I order medium rare steak and it came well done. Now I’ll let that slide just. Little for the travel time but still. We each got 1 yum yum sauce and everyone know that is not enough for a whole meal. I have never been more disappointed in my life at a place that I love. They should an ashamed of themselves for delivering this."

"The katsu and tempura were really crispy and tasty, and the deep fried desserts (twinkies, Oreos, and ice cream) were outstanding. The sushi and teriyaki were good here as well. The ramen was ok, but since we got takeout, perhaps we didn’t soak the noodles in the broth long enough. Overall, I feel like I will be coming back here, as their menu was huge, with plenty of other items I’ll want to try."

"I must say first off that the food we've gotten here has been delicious. But we've ordered delivery from them about 5 or 6 times, and they have never once gotten our order right. Something is inevitably left off, and, no matter how many times we beg that they be kept separate, the vegetarian rolls are mixed in with everything else, resulting in half of my meal being smeared with fish and rendered inedible. I was so excited to find a place with so many vegetarian options, but sadly we can no longer order from them. Maybe you'd have better luck dining in, but we've spent too much time trying to salvage food and claiming back missing items that we can no longer give them our money. "I would give this place a solid 4 stars! My dad and I were on vacation in Washington, D.C., and I had a craving for crab rangoons, so we decided to check it out. The building looked a bit questionable, but the food made it all worth it! I really enjoyed the egg drop soup; it was served piping hot! I ordered plain lo mein, but they accidentally included vegetables, which I just pushed to the side. The crab rangoons were definitely the highlight of the meal, although they were so hot that I ended up burning myself. "I called to order a sushi platter for takeout, and the woman I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. She assisted me in choosing a platter that offered a bit of everything for $75. This was perfect for three hungry adults who had skipped lunch, but it could easily feed a family of four to five. I’ve ordered sushi from other places before, but the quality and size of the rolls here were impressive. The presentation was excellent, and everything tasted fantastic. "It's frustrating to see a decline in the restaurant's service. I visit frequently, but I've noticed that the portion sizes have been getting smaller while the prices continue to increase. It's disheartening to see them passing the costs of their diminished quality and quantity onto customers."
