"Pleasantly surprised by the food and quick service. Wanted American Chinese and decided to give this place a try despite the reviews— so glad I did! Ordered online and it was ready when it said it would be. Went inside and saw how food was cooked fresh and to order. It was clean and very deliciously smelling. Ordered an appetizer sample and it smelled and tasted fresh and with quality. Got an order of general gau’s for my husband he and liked his meal. The flavors of the lo mein had that wok flavor and I was impressed. The food was fried well but not only. Will definitely come here again."

"I have been delivering orders through a 3rd party deliver service for this restaurant for a couple years now. I’ve always read great things about it and can safely say this restaurant has more regular frequent flyers than almost any other restaurant I deliver from. I decided to order for the first time for myself, and I can absolutely see why. I had the samurai combination hibachi meal and can honestly say it was some of the best most flavorful food I’ve ever eaten. The portion for price was absolutely spectacular. I ate and ate and ate and still had leftovers. The people who work at this restaurant are super kind and friendly and hard-working. This Is definitely hidden gem restaurant that you wouldn’t even realize was there if you didn’t know about it from word-of-mouth. But I will safely say It is some of the best Japanese food you can get your hands on I would say in the county, if not beyond. I think they just got another regular customer! Great job! "I had a wonderful experience dining at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. The chicken Tom Yum soup was outstanding—one of the best I've ever had—though I could have done without the tomatoes. The portion sizes were very generous and could easily feed three people. The cashew chicken and chicken fried rice were both flavorful, but I think I’ll try the curry or basil dishes next time. The egg rolls were decent and very crispy, but they could use a bit more flavor on the inside. The garlic shrimp was a delightful surprise and surprisingly delicious."

"I frequently take charge of the menu when we dine there, as the portions are impressively large, and my family always ends up with leftovers. Everything we've tried has been delicious, and I highly recommend their house salad with peanut dressing—it's a must-have for me! My kids are big fans of the orange chicken, and they always request it to be mild. When we order shrimp on our dishes, the shrimp is always perfectly sized. We keep coming back because the quality of the food truly speaks for itself."

"I made reservations for 9 pm didn’t get attended till 9:35 pm that was only to place my order for my drinks. By 10:00 pm we placed our food order the chef didn’t start cooking till 10:20 pm. Chefs were friendly and nice the waitress was very confused. It was one waitress for 20 people 3 different parties. Food was good but I will never be coming back service was awful. The only reason why I’m putting two stars is because the chef was amazing. The owner also favorited the party across from us and gave them free drinks as well as desserts and we were all seated at the same time. It was very short staffed and we were the last party since the restaurant closes at 11:00 pm. Hope this review helps I should’ve payed attention to the other reviews."

"Its a nice clean chinrse restaurant but the spup wontons wrre hard not soft likr they should be and the sweet and sour shrimp was very thin and small and way to doughy and the spear ribs were meaty but they drowned them with way too much barbeque sause and the the sauce was not cooked into the ribs. The prices were too high. My mom and I were very disappointed and we are never going back to eat at Johnny Changs Chinese Restaurant."

"Good delicate and peanuty pineaple curry. A palatable medium spice that allows for the flavors to blend and combine the peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, pineapple pieces. Unlike the Thai counterpart this one has a stronger peanut flavor in contrast to the coconut/pinapple taste of the Thai Pineapple curry, also boasting a thicker texture. "Had ordered dinner from Hama last week. I became violently sick several hours later. Called Hama the next day and was told the American body can't handle the mix of different foods. (I was not looking for a free meal. I promptly called the Nassau County Department of Health who inspected Hama a day or two later. They said Hama completely failed the inspection. I was told that the meat, fish and rice were not stored correctly i.e. not at the correct temperature. I was told the temperature of the Eel was measured 57 degrees. It would have been nice if the owner called me back to apologize. I was not looking for anything else. As an update, I have to get tested for parasites."

When I called the restaurant to get a refund they proceeded to deny any of the food possibly making me sick and they refused to give a refund tome without a hospital report…are you kidding me?!
