"We have not dined at Hobnob for probably 3 years and decided to give it a try. We made a reservation on Opentable and were seatedd right away. We ordered a mediteranean chicken sandwich and the meatloaf dinner. The chicken sandwich was good, but for $15 it was very small. It came with fries that were very good. The meatloaf dinner was a big let down. It came in a bowl with the meatloaf placed over mashed potatoes. The potatoes and meatloaf were cold. The meatloaf was very mushy. We flagged down a manger and she was ver apologetic and said she we get a new order. The manager came back and told us that the meatloaf was left over from the day before and was reheated. We then ordered the fried chicken breast sandwich. The chicken was served piping hot, but had no flavor at all. If we were to return we would only order appetizers which many of the near by parties were ordering. We appreciated the manager being very honest with us regarding the meatloaf. The service was very good. This restaurant has a nioce outdoor ddining patio looking onto the newly landscaped courtyard."

"Restaurant Only. We made a reservation for 4 for dinner here for my grandmother's 89th birthday and the service was ridiculous! We were there 45 minutes before our drinks came and we waited just over 2 HOURS for our food to come! We were not offered or given anything in that time; no bread or chips or anything. just left alone for 2 HOURS with an overpriced drink that was mediocre at best. Then, after waiting 2 HOURS for our food, we are left sitting there without any silverware to eat our food with for about 8 minutes! Finally after a bit over 2 HOURS we got to eat. My mother's food was both cold and overcooked, me and my grandmother's veggies were undercooked, and the portions left us leaving hungry. The food overall was decent, we aren't hard to please when it comes to food, but it sure wasn't worth waiting 2 HOURS, $175, and still leaving hungry!"

"sweet restaurant. fun decor. nice staff, but slow and not check in to fill our empty drinks until we were almost finished. chef was great to accommodate the substitution of my young daughter, thank you. unfortunately my meal was just bad. steak was fat (typically a large ribeye), but probably the worst cut I've ever seen. I couldn't cut by most of him with a steak knife. cartilage and belt. the broccolini was. I must have missed the carburized part on the menu? the shed kartoffels are actually jalapeño skaloped kartoffeln, but usually a melted cheese block (too easy on real kartoffels I could find) in any case an older crowd. I had to keep my expectations a little deeper."

"Cute little place that felt like a blast from the past. One of those sit anywhere there's an open table kinda places. As soon as we did, the waitress came immediately over. Hot coffee was given a minute later as well as our food order. Waitress was personable and answered all the questions about the menu. Yes, they do serve their entire menu all the time. Not long later, our food came. Portions were a good size. I really loved the Monkey Hill breakfast, and the biscuit was nice and buttered on the grilled. Loved the extra flavor that gave the flaky biscuits. Really glad I got the gravy on the side though since it was flavorless and didn't add anything to the biscuits at all. My friend wasn't impressed with her corned beef, but we both enjoyed our eggs. I loved the Belgian waffle and will definitely order that again. I could smell it when she was bringing it over, and it was so good while it was still hot. Bathrooms are unisex and clean. There's also a sign in there to let then know if it's missing anything. By the time we left (10 am on Sun), there was only one empty table and a couple of bar stools open. I would suggest getting here early on the weekends to avoid a wait! 1 star off because I was charged for something I ended up canceling and not getting. I originally ordered a side of grits, but the waitress convinced me we would have plenty of food. She was right since I ended up boxing half of the waffle and Monkey Hill. However, I still got charged for it. The parking lot is also really tight if you don't get there early enough to score a spot. Think there's only 10 spots that filled up really quick."

"The service is outstanding. The bar food is just mediocre; it felt overly processed and quite salty. I was disappointed to find out that the crawfish boil is no longer available, as it was the main reason I decided to dine at The Brick House tonight. I've visited a couple of times before and had my eye on that beautiful bag of boiled delicacies, just waiting to indulge. I really hope they reconsider and at least offer it as a special from time to time."

"The sunny-side-up eggs were cooked just right, and you can also get swirl rye bread on the side with your breakfast. They serve genuine hash browns, not the typical versions you find elsewhere. I also tried the cinnamon swirl pancake, which was caramelized on the griddle—a unique treat. I took a picture of it to show my son, and it got a rare thumbs up from him! It’s amusing to think that people wait in line at the Wendy’s out front when there’s a much better burger to be had inside this hidden gem. Overall, everything was fantastic. I have to mention the fish fillet again; I didn’t notice it on the menu, so it might only be available in limited quantities. If the waitress recommends it when you visit, don’t hesitate to order it, even if you’re not a fish lover like me. This place is truly a delight!"

"I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant under its new ownership. It was my first visit, and everything was fantastic. I ordered a gyro omelette loaded with vegetables and a side of sausage gravy, and it was perfectly cooked. The vegetables were just right, and there was plenty of meat. They even make their own gravies, which was a nice touch. After graduation, I was so impressed that I decided to try the patty melt, and it was incredible—definitely to die for! It was made with a hand-formed patty, not a frozen one, which I really appreciated. I was quite hungry, and it didn’t take long for me to finish it! I had a great time dining there, and the waitresses were very appreciative of the cook’s efforts. I will definitely be back for more!"

"First time here, we love bbq but always order small to start, to see how it is. This place is great, we ended up ordering more. We had the brisket, pulled pork and pulled chicken. Pulled chicken was our favorite of the 3 with the pulled pork second and brisket third. We also had corn bread and collard greens. The greens had a subtle amount of spice and good flavor, cornbread was perfect. The bbq sauce is yummy, honey bbq was my favorite."

"The experience was horrible! Not what I was expecting at all I heard all kind of praise about this place but it was the complete opposite. The kitchen was really dirty, the server was playing in her hair the entire time we waited almost an hour and we were literally the only ones there the server touched our food with her fingernails to see if it was done then put it back in the grease and proceeded to do it again it was just an all around bad experience and I really just wasted money . Personally never again for me."
