"Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start! Before we even got to Second Happy Door, the host greeted us with menus, and they were very polite. Once we sat down, we were served refreshing water with ice and napkins—such attentive service! Our waiter came by shortly after to take our orders, and the coffee arrived quickly. We ordered the French Toast Deluxe, which came with eggs and cheese, as well as cheddar cheese and extra pancakes. Honestly, this was the best French toast I've ever had! It was perfectly warm and cooked just right in the middle. The flavor was outstanding; the cook truly nailed it. The presentation was also impressive!"

"We came in right before a big rush on a Sunday morning with a huge family and were seated right away. Our waitress, Cindy, was super sweet, knowledgeable about everthing in that humongous menu and very patient with the children's orders and their talent for not knowing what they wanted. The food came quick and everything was fresh and delish, especially the bacon. YOU HAVE TO TRY THE BACON!"

"First visit here and was very happy with it. Menu was huge...many choices. For a diner, it was was very clean inside. This isnt your typical greasy spoon. Waiter was friendly and the food was very good. I had the Italian Burger with a side of fries. Burger was not a sopping greasy mess but was tasty, with a good amount of toppings. I had a cup of coffee as well. .. waiter brought out a mug of coffee! Even the coffee was tasty...not burnt old jo. Btw the way at the table was a sign advertising bottles of wine at prices that you usually don't see in a restaurant. This place has been here a long time, wish I had come here sooner! As an afterthought.. If the chefs there read this.. add some hot pickled cherry peppers to that Italian Burger for a real winning alternative."

I go there not only for the Bagels, but for the service. Lola, Joe and the rest of the team are always friendly and remember my name, my face and order every time I visit. And they are always superbusy, for obvious reasons, but still customer service. My mother-in-law lives in Central New York and demands (not really) that I bring her a dozen BBB each time. When birthdays and mother's day come, it would be much more a dozen Bloomfield Best Bagels than a dozen roses."

"Absolutely incredible food! The staff are so friendly! It’s extremely vegan and vegetarian-friendly, yet still a great option for meat lovers. Even though I'm not a local, I’m always impressed each time I visit. The prices are incredibly affordable and the food is delicious! The owner mentioned that they offer catering on short notice, and I just noticed that their catering menu includes breakfast tacos! My only complaint is that they close too early—I’d love to enjoy their food for dinner too, haha!"

"I had an experience with fraudulent activity on my credit card. I got the phone number from the order from the pizzeria. I Called the customer and when I called her out for using my card she apologized for stealing my cc info, called the pizzeria to pick up the tab but the person at middle island pizza said they could not refund me and charge the appropriate party. I am getting the police involved. Way to go with customer service middle island pizza. "Rude staff. I called to see if I could get a combination pizza and was asking questions. This was the second time I called as I was trying to make a decision with my mother on her way home. The person literally rudely told me “I can’t do this. I have customers. You need to call me back when You make up your minds”. He hung up the phone on me.That is terrible customer service. "This used to be one of my favorite pizza places. It is now run by a bunch of teenagers who care more about their phones then they do the customers. The pie I received today was undercooked and barely had any cheese. I also ordered a platter of spaghetti with tomato sauce and got spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs took up half the platter and I am not a fan of meatballs so it is a waste. A few days ago I ordered spaghetti with tomato sauce and they didn't put the tomato sauce in! They laughed and said I never asked for sauce. Do people actually order plain spaghetti?!?! This is my last time ordering from here. It is a shame. I used to love this place and looked forward to ordering from them almost weekly."

"I ordered two bagels for research purposes. The sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese had the ideal texture — soft on the inside with that perfect crispy outer shell. My second choice was a simple buttered bagel. It had just the right amount of seasoning, enhancing the flavor without making a mess. For a drink, I went with their iced coffee, which had that delightful Tristate deli magic to it, tasting just like the iced coffee from all the other bagel shops. It was both comfortable and tasty, although I'm not quite sure why they all seem to taste so similar. But that's a mystery for another time. If you’re looking for great bagels, I highly recommend trying Bagels and More in Bergenfield. You won’t be disappointed!"

"Horrible experience in ordering food todayThere 's a cashier lady there, who has terrible attitude. I don 't know her name, but one way to identify her is that she has heavy Hispanic accent. I tried to place an order today over the phone, and she kept interrupting me. I asked her repeatedly miss I have work to do, I need to place the order fast so I can go. She just kept talking and interrupting me. I said I had to wait a long time on the phone, she told me that I had to use a tablet. I informed her that I tried ordering online but the site told me to call the restaurant. I said it 's okay can I just place the order now? She then accuses me of fighting with her because I said that I had to wait a long time on the phone. Then she says that I have to say please . Whenever I call the restaurant to order I always begin with saying I 'd like to order a pickup please. She just kept arguing with me that I just couldn 't get my order in. I got so frustrated I had forget about getting food from there and hang up the phone. This argumentative lady is going to drive customers away."

"I came in to get a bacon and egg sandwich like I usually do twice a week. I got home, didn’t have a chance to eat at work. I got home, heat it for seconds and the bacon had black dots and a weird taste. I called and the new owner told me ITS NORMAL BECAUSE THEY USE BOARDS HEAD BACON and the BLACK DOTS ARE FROM THE HOT GRILL! I used hot grill at home and I never seen a grill making black dots to my bacon. I used to go for years when Chris used to run/own it and I never had an issue."

"As a Chicano, I can confidently say this place has the best menudo I've ever had at a restaurant. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the broth had just the right flavor. I did have to ask for cilantro and oregano, but they brought it to me right away. The corn tortillas were definitely fresh. I topped off my big bowl with a barbacoa taco. It's always a good sign when there's a line of people waiting to get in, especially when most of them are elderly! I will definitely return to this cafe every time I'm in town. I loved the cozy, hole-in-the-wall vibe. Don't miss this gem if you're nearby!"
