"Today was my first time to go to Country Roads Grill, although a number of friends had recommended it. It was a rainy, chilly day, and my wife didn't want to leave the house, but had a yearning for a steak hoagie, so I headed to the Country Roads Grill. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but walking in it passed my first test, everything looks clean and welcoming. I took a moment to study the menu, and placed my order for a sausage hoagie, a steak hoagie, french fries, and onion rings. The lady, taking my order was very pleasant and friendly, and told me that my order would be ready in a few minutes. I was happy to wait, because that meant that they were preparing my food for me, and not merely stuffing some already prepared sandwich in a bag. I noticed that one of their signs indicated that they have daily specials. That's another thing I like to see at a restaurant. After a few minutes, the lady who had checked me out and brought my order to me and I took it home. After tasting the sandwiches both my wife and I agreed that this was a restaurant worth keeping on our list. Both hoagies were very tasty and well prepared, with soft bread and tasty meat, cheese, and peppers. The french fries weren't anything special, but we both thought that the fried onion rings were among the better ones we've had locally. It was a chilly and wet December afternoon, and I noticed that it was a little cool inside. So if you tend to find restaurants cold, you might want to bring your jacket or sweater in with you if you are planning to eat lunch in on a cold winter day."
